Lakini pamoja na yote hayo, bado Bandari ya Dar es salaam inahudumia poorest countries... Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Rwanda, and the like! Kuhudumia nchi maskini tafsiri yake wala hakuna mzigo wa maana na wa kujivunia unaopita Bandari ya dar es salaam, na ndo maana, ni nadra sana kukuta meli 20 zikiwa zimetia nanga Bandari ya Dar es salaam wakati Mombasa ni jambo la kawaida sana kukuta hata meli 25-30 kwa wakati mmoja!!!

Hiyo Bandari ya Dar es salaam mnayojidanganya inatosha sana sio kwamba inatosha sana bali inahudumia nchi maskini!! Leo Tanzania tukifikisha angalau kama uchumi wa Kenya tu, Bandari ya Dar inaelemewa! Uchumi mkubwa maana yake ni ama more exports, or more imports or both!!
Hatuna bandari ya miaka 10-15 ijayo unless nchi iendelee kuwa maskini kama tulivyo, na majirani zetu nao waendelee kuwa maskini!
Hamna bandari ya ku-accomodate hata uchumi wa kawaida tu!!
Soth Africa bado ni nchi maskini tu lakini bado Durban Port peke yake haitoshi ku-accomodate SA Economy na matokeo yake wana bandari nadhani kama sio 5 basi 6, na hilo la "bandari hii itafanya kazi gani" halipo!!
But on top of that, mara kadhaa hapa tushasema Bagamoyo Port ilitarajiwa kuwa transshipment port and not like any other port! Pamoja na kuwa transshipment port pia ilitarajiwa iwe the export port na ndio maana mradi ilibidi uende sambasamba na Industrial City!
In short, China is no longer a point for cheap labor!! Take it from me: Usishangae kuona miaka 15 ijayo ukakuta bidhaa zinazalishwa Afrika ilipo cheap labor na kupelekwa China!! Kinachosua sua hadi leo ndo vile lack of skilled labors!!
