this kobello guy is either just a dumbass who escaped the dumbass realm or just a troll.

Hehehe that's what they all are, he started out as someone who can engage in a meaningful and productive debate, all Tanzanians here drooled on him, then he was cornered with facts by Kenyans and resulted into their usual baikoko mentality and attitude.

33 billion is 2 billion shot of 35 billion the 2019 GDP of Uganda. Kenya is on another level in East Africa.
Maana KRA wanakusanya less than USD 15b Tanzania loans estimated at USD 3. Budget ain't numbers but substance.

The flaw in most of their arguments lies in the fact that Kenya is economically, technologically and logistically and bigger and better than them which essentially condemns them not only to argue from a position of weakness but also against the facts/reality.

Therefore, they don't troll out stupidity (some of them do) but they troll out of necessity #asisyphustask

By the time pipeline ya Uganda inakamilika na tourism ina rebound back to normacy i see our budget getting to $20 bln hapo sija-factor ujenzi wa $30 bln LNG!
Only mwendawazimu tuu anaweza praise budget ya Kenya. Kenya ni hatari kwa economy ya East Africa na integration ya east Africa maana monetary convergence iko out of tune with agreed east african standards. Debt to GDP ration iko juu,, percentages of budget allocated for recurrent expenditure iko juu sana, over dependence on loans for budgetary support ina excees east Africa set limits, Kenyan currency iko overvalued by more than 35 percent . Hili ni bomu linalosubiria kulipuka economically

When Kenyan economy goes into recession we neighbours will lose part of our exports and trade between us will decline severely impacting our currencies that will bring instability in the whole of EAC communiy. Thst is yo say that any county in the union becomes unstable spill over effects are felt by others look at the case of Greece in the near past it threatened to drag EU down into path of instability but luckily EU saved the day. Same here we will be faced with similar situation soon forcing other EAC countries to chip in and save Kenya so as not to bring the whole EAC economy down.

Tanzania $15.59 billion
Kenya $33.3 billion

==============

East African Finance ministers present their national budgets in their respective parliaments for the fiscal year 2021/22 today.

According to the East Africa Community (EAC) Treaty, partner states are required to read their budgets simultaneously.

But only the three founding member states – Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania – read their budgets today.

Burundi whose financial calendar begins in January and South Sudan were both given time by the EAC Council of Ministers to adjust the reading of their budgets in harmony with the rest of the partner states.

Rwanda did not give reason for delaying the budget reading.

Uganda's $12.61 billion (Ush44.7 trillion) Budget is being presented by Mr Amos Lugoloobi, the newly appointed Minister of State for Planning.

In Tanzania, the $15.59 billion (Tsh36.32 trillion) Budget will be read by the new Minister of Finance and Planning Dr Mwigulu Nchemba.

Treasury Cabinet Secretary Ukur Yatani will lay out the $33.3 billion (Ksh3.6 trillion) budget which is expected to cement the legacy of Kenya's President Uhuru Kenyatta 10 years in office in a tough economic setting clouded with depressed corporate and household earnings amid uncertainties arising from the Covid-19 pandemic.

I'm actually confused.
What are you talking about? All I see is Lagos this and Lagos that.
Then you cc-ed me for what?
Are we still arguing about budget size determining the size of Economy? I hope that's not why you copied and pasted that pamphlet.
Take a rest bruh, y'all lost on this one.
Confused fella... Didn't you say that 70% of Nigerian state's revenue comes from the federal govt?

----++++----
Nigeria's Federal Government accounts for an average of 70% of States' revenue. Nothing different from most so-called devolved governments in Africa. They all depend on the central government i.e pesa mashinani crap!
------++++------

Didn't you also initially claim that Nigeria an Kenya have the same budget size?

----+++++----
Ficha your ignorance.
A big budget doesn't necessarily mean you are richer or more developed.
Nigeria's GDP is five times that of Kenya and y'all have the same budget size.
-----++++-----

The comment that I tagged you in shows that Lagos state, as the biggest beneficiary of federal cash allocation, has a measly 18% of their budget bieng funded by Federal money, they are even forced to borrow external loans to fill their deficiet. SO NO, YOU ARE WRONG. Nigeria and Kenya don't have the same budget. Nigeria combined budget is probably + $50B.

Kenya's development expenditure (the most important part of the budget) is 6bil$. Tanzania's is 6bil$.

The rest is debt servicing and payroll (usually this is the indicator of how big/corrupt is the government).

CFS (debt servicing which is mainly debt rollover) is 12bn$ for Kenya vs 4bn$ for Tanzania.

Basically that budget is for payroll and debt rollover (85%), while Tanzania spends 40% in development projects.
Safi sana mkuu,

Huyu binti amezidi uzezeta, amesahau kuwa debt to GDP ratio ya Kenya tayari imefika 100%

Maana yake nchi imefilisika, budget inakua inflated ili waende kulipa madeni.

Wanakopa hata pesa za kulipa mishahara siku hizi.

This is how to deal with ignorance, concrete facts. Nimeona pia hawajui maana ya Debt to GDP ratio, nchi inaweza kukua na hata 200% debt to GDP ratio na iko sawa., elimu uchwara inawaacha ovyo kimawazo., mtu binafsi anaweza kuomba mkopo zaidi ya mapato yake mara tano ili kufanya projects, sasa kwa mtanzania huyo ni fukara 😂 😂 😂 thats how the rich make money.., they should watch Robert Kiyosaki awaelimishe.

Phew!
1. Nigeria's States budgets combined are 22bn$. 70% of which is funded by The federal Government. This means The 35bn$ Federal budget, allocates 14 bn$ to the States and Local governments. 8bn$ comes from State's own sources.
So, add 8bn$ to 35bn$ you get 43bn$.
2. Having said that, still Nigeria has five times (you can say four, but it doesn't matter) the Gdp of kenya but 1.25 times the budget of Kenya.
3. Do you agree that the size of the budget doesn't indicate the size of the economy??????
Do you agree or not based on that example? it's easy man! Stop the blah blah, you can't nullify.

..I agree that his analysis is excellent.

..it should close this thread and open another one.

..he still has not answered or justified why Tanzania is allocating the same amount of money in development as Kenya while it is bigger in terms of size and population.
We should be enlightened here as well.

It's possible but not under 9yrs, that means you should add up $200 on per capital income for 9 yrs consecutively to reach upper middle income...tell me mliongeza ngap for 2020 from 2019
You are wrong. Upper middle income sio Gni per capita of $4,000 kama unavyosema bali around $8,000.

In Kenya most of our development is financed by debt. Kwa mfano most of our roads are built through loans kwa hivyo hio development budget ya $6 billion isikudanganye. Sisi tunatumia both debt na internal revenue kuunda infrastructure while nyinyi mnategemea sana internal revenue yenu ndogo kufinance both development na recurrent.

KRA last financial year ilikusanya $18 billion. Get your facts right. That is 25% of your economy.
