kuna mambo niliyasikia katika academic corridors,by then nikiwa alaska,ambayo sikuyasikia when i was in tanzania.either yalikuwa hayazungumziwi au labda by then,UPEO wangu ulikuwa mdogo.
Is it true kwamba NYERERE was advised,against the construction of the UHURU RAILWAY(tazara)he was told by western donors it would be a white elephant,the chinese constructed it simply for the reason of wanting spheres of influence.Na je is it currently standing on its own,or now and then it has to be propped up by the govt of tanzania and zambia?
Is it true that NYERERE was advised against,invading uganda,for tanzania would not be able to fund a sustained war,taking over uganda would set tanzania ten years back
Is it true that NYERERE in shifting the capital to DODOMA,had gone against the wishes of his economic advisors-he was made to understand the country did not have the resources
Is it true,when NYERERE,threw out LONRHO and nationalised their assets,Tiny Rowland used donor nations to force tanzania to compensate LONRHO,but unfortunately tanzania could not afford,nyerere had to eat humble pie,through the back door,unonnouced,stealthly he sneaked LONRHO back in the country

Nafirikiri unafahamu kwamba historia huwa inaandikwa halafu hutokea siku ikajirudia.

Sasa kwa Tanzania historia iliandikwa kwa lile Azimio la Arusha na baada ya miaka zaidi ya 40 tunaona historia ya mabepari kurudi kwa migongo ya IMF na World BAnk kupitia multi-national companies.

Hali hii haitakwisha Afrika mpaka pale tutapoweza kuchimba wenyewe madini na kuuza nje ya bara hili.

Pia kuachana na kukinga mabakuli ya misaada kwa mabepari walewale ambao kule kabla ya uhuru walikwishatathmini ufinyu wa kufikiri wa mwafrika katika kuongoza na kuleta maendeleo ya kweli kwa wananchi wengi walio maskini.
