POSITION TITLE: Audit Associate
REPORTS TO: Audit Senior
LOCATION: Plot No. 372, Oyster-pearl Galleria building,
Ground Floor Unit No. G007,

Chole road, Oysterbay - Masaki

OVERALL JOB FUNCTION:
Under the leadership of the senior auditor, the incumbent will assist the Senior auditor in executing assurance engagements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding the business and various business processes, risks identification and assessing relevant controls in place that mitigates those risks- including both manual and IT-general controls (application controls).
• Design the audit strategies basing on the risk assessment-in testing controls, detail testing (substantive) and analytical procedures.
• Evaluation of its effectiveness and reporting of weaknesses that need management awareness and improvements.
• Review of compliances on various standards from internal controls, International financial reporting standards, IPSAS, Tax Acts and other relevant regulation and provisions in place.
• Review and Preparation of Financial Statements.
  
  QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• B. Com Accounting/Finance from a recognized University.
• GPA of 4 and above from a recognized University, graduated in 2020 or 2021.
• CPA (T)/ACCA will be of added advantage.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft word, Excel, and outlook.
• Be of high integrity and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Work under minimum supervision.
• Reading, written, and verbal fluency in English and Kiswahili.
