Sijakusoma vizuri..ila kwa mtu aliyesoma COMPUTER Science...atakua anayo specialization at least wengi wetu hupenda kufahamika hivyo..so kama mimi ...am a programmer/software developer. mwingine anaweza kuwa network engineer, security, etc etc...

Aisee babaangu kama unasoma kibongobongo ata usisome computer science maana 'hailipi' (that word is relative).
Ila kama unasoma ki-interest...for the love of it then (and here i might be biased) fanga programming coz u will venture into both fields za networking n a bit of hardware engineering! Programming is fun na pia most programmers wanajua bits n bytes on networking n the like. ila mara nyingi mtu akishaspecialize kwenye networking kidogokidogo ataanza kusahau programming!
The only challenge ni utakua mwanafunzi maisha yako yote ya profession hii! Kila siku lazima usome lasivyo utapoitwa na dunia! The choice is urs..

IT vs Computer science
In their most basic terms ,Computer Science and Information Technology may not have any difference when being referred to in general and for a good reason, a lot of people do take them to mean more or less the same thing. However, speaking in strict computing terms, there is indeed a difference between the two terms.
Computer science refers to the processes used to create usable computer programs and applications together with all theory behind those processes. Information technology (IT) on the other hand refers to the application of computer programs to solve business processes. It is the application of technology in business.
The two terms may also differ depending on school or Institute where in some schools they may use one term to refer to a course that combines IT and Computer science modules. In schools that are more engineering based like DIT,St Joseph and even Mzumbe, they use the computer Engineering/computer science and IT separate and even the course contents are different from the second year of studies .So names depend on the level but nature of activities also matter coz we have IT/computer science/computer Engineering. The computer Engineer is the one studied computer engineering and his activities are to integrates several fields of electrical engineering, Telecoms and computer science required to develop computer systems

Hakuna mtu aliyesoma IT akaitwa IT,majina yanategemeana na kazi unayofanya.Najua ulitaka kumaanisha IT officer,IT specialist or IT assistant.Kazi hizi zikifanywa na yeyote mwenye qualification za kazi hiyo akiajiliwa ataitwa IT assistant/specialist/officer.
IT ni part ya ICT ila mara nyingi watu hupendelea kutumia IT na si ICT.
Computer science wanadeal sana na software/database development.IT inavitu vingi vikiwemo hivyo vya computer science,IT(information technology).How can you keep information easily?(in a database),how can information be transferred from one point to another(networking is needed)?How can we control access to the information?(radius protocol or AAA).Anyway in a nut shell IT inahusisha vitu vingi hata vile vya computer science si lazima iwe deep ila inahusisha vitu hivyo.
Hata aliyesoma computer science anaweza itwa IT office/assistant/specialist kama atakuwa anafanya kazi yenye title hiyo na amequalify.
Hujawahi kusikia mtu anaitwa engineer wakati hajasoma engineering ila kazi anayofanya ina title ya engineer na amequalify.Eg BSS engineer,Network engineer,...Jina analoitwa mtu si muda wote linatokana na alichokisoma ,mara nyingi linatokana na kazi anayofanya.
