KDF Operations and Information Officer Col Cyrus Oguna said Kenyan forces backed by Somalia National Army (SNA) and the Ras Kamboni Brigade took control of the port city at 2am on Friday.
More details to follow shortly...

you are so right about that. it took UGABAG 4years to pacify mogadishu taking heavy casuaties. what KDF has done in less than a year is just professional:high5:. lets pacify Kismayu and look forward to help rebuild somali and its economy and in future as the next kid in EAC. Am not taking the credit for kDF alone but this should be a lesson to the west...where you failed, we made it.together(eac) we are strong than being puppets of your aids n funding.

President Museveni,,,did say that the Kenyan Defense forces never knew
anything about war and that all they new,,the KDF,,was from watching
videos.

So watching videos,,,after all,,wasn't that bad idea,,at least,,they learned
so much mistakes made by others.

Let's see what's happens,,next,for it is very early,,for celebrations,,
,,,though we Kenyans and many others,,,are very proud of the
good work by the KDF.

Some lessons to Americans,,,,,Vita si kifua cha kutisha,,vita
ni kuelewa ambaye mko vitani naye.

And to the Shababs,,,,,,,Ukiona Simba amelala,,,usithani
ni ka-doggy
:biggrin:eti,,,,'ukarushie' jiwe,,,,,
