A tweet by the University congratulating the Moot court winners
The John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition provides a unique opportunity to gain experience in international litigation, to improve one's written and oral legal skills and to meet students and trade professionals from around the world.

The competition is global and is organized by the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA). The simulated proceeding is based on the dispute settlement system of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The teams prepare and analyze a fictive case tackling key legal questions of international economic law in the fields of trade in goods and services.

Reaction by Mishael, one of the team members, towards their victory
The team was also this year's winners of the African regional round of the same competition which saw them compete against other regional winners in the finals.

Netizens shared the University’s victory by congratulating them for beating all odds to win the global competition. One of the team's members, Mishael, replied stating that it was a win for the continent with the win being well deserved.

The colonial hangover will one day kill you. Who told you that the world is fond of a good spoken queen's language. If that was the case, the economy of Zimbabwe would be surpassing of that of China and Japan.

Do not equates English with country's economic development.
What counts in nowadays world is innovation, creativity and applications of acquired skills to solve problems of the society.
