Nadhani JKN-Airport ina CCTV. Uongozi uangalie hapo jana , nani alimvyuta Mzungu kando na kumchomoa

Hey XXXXXX, I was going through the last security checkpoint at the airport and the security guys took me aside and went through my carry ons. They said that since I didn't have a receipt for the curving’s (souvenirs) we bought at Muwenge, I had to pay them $200 to take them with me, or I could go back to the first security stop and pay for them again, and get a receipt or go to jail. Basically, they robbed me of $200. I wonder how many times they do that each day. Considering it was only a few minutes to start boarding, there was little I could have done. Mind you, last week police in Bagamoyo road harassed us badly taking $150 claiming we had expired fire extinguisher. Even our diplomatic immunity didn't mean anything to them. I will be lodging a complaint in regards to the harassment and shakedowns as this terrified me
Talk to you soon.
