Wanajamvi-
After what has been a hard-fought election (somewhat riggid) ever to happen in Mainland Tanzania. Many were left wondering if Tanzania will ever be the same again. It is interesting to note that the predecessor of the incumbent president goes by the name of Benjamin William Mkapa came into office in 1995 with little support from Wananchi 61±% votes. In my opinion I think that could have driven him to work hard any gain some more approval ratings and eventually won in 2000 by 71±% votes a victory Ben himself dubbed it as Ushindi wa Kishindo
Looking back to his compatriot that is the current president Kikwete, thinkers will ask themselves what went wrong to this darling of makabwelas in Tanzania. The biggest vote slump in Tanzanian history he accrued in his second term is not something to be ignored. Does it entail that Kikwete has dismally failed people who trusted him so much to bring about change. Is it a step backward or is just a mere wake up call?
What ever the case might be, what do you think the future of Tanzania should be?
Kweli maisha ni vipindi.
