    Watu hawa-apply nafasi hizo. Na hata waki-apply wengi hukosea application letters au kwenye usahili hujikanyaga kwelikweli.

    Nina mifano hai, lakini kuna moja baya zaidi. Wakenya wanaitiana nafasi hizo na wabongo waliobahatika kuingia hata hawathubutu kufanya kuita wabongo wenzao. Muhimu ni kuzitangaza pindi zinapopatikana. Kwa wale wenye sifa hizo fanya kutuma maombi kila iwezekanapo. Kama mtu hajui namna ya kuandika applications bora afuatilie eneo hili maana tutaanza kutoa somo juu ya namna ya kuandika application letters, CV n.k.

    Cha msingi ni watu wenye qualifications zao KU-APPLY seriously. mara zote ambazo binafsi nimefanyia watu interview ni watu toka Asia, South America na West Africa.

    Wenzetu nadhani hu-apply kwa wingi sana sana na ndio maana wanajikuta wako wengi huko UN na other international organisations.

    Mac utafanya vema sana kuweka namna ya kuandika barua, CV nk...................mfano live wa baadhi ya application amabzo personnally nimewahi kuzipitia za wabongo pale nikipata nafasi unakuta kwa wkeli hatuko serious............especially ktk kujieleza......tena hapo mtu hata kama ni kudesa ungeweza kudesa kwani hujaambiwa uongee bali uandike......lakini waapi................mtu unaambiwa jieleze kwa maneno yasiyozidi lets say 3000......unakuta mtu kaandika two lines!!!!!.......kamaliza!!!

    Mimi hapa nimetuma maombi mara nyingi sana, kila wakitangaza tu. Ninaamini kuwa ninafahamu Kiingereza vizuri lakini ni kweli mbali na Kiingereza sifahamu lugha nyingine ya kimataifa. Nilishawahi kufanya interview pale stage kama 3 wakati fulani. Sasa hivi tu kila siku naenda ku-check status ya application yangu. Hata sijui mtu afanyeje ili angalau aweze kuwa hata shortlisted tu.     Job Title: E T Consultant

    Selection Criteria
    The position requires a person with experience in marketing social services or consumer goods in developing countries. Specific requirements include:

    i A minimum of a Masters degree in a field relevant to the WSP, such as business, marketing, communications or a relevant field with technical expertise in marketing, promotion, advertising, public relations, market and consumer research techniques or behavior change communication or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    ii Have at least two years of relevant experience with proven expertise in developing marketing plans and communication strategies aimed at behavior change toward a social or profit objective.

    iii Experience in developing appropriate, acceptable, and comprehensible messages for specific target audiences. Prior experience in and detailed knowledge of the sanitation and hygiene sector highly desirable.

    iv Experience supervising and/or conducting qualitative and quantitative research.

    v Strong conceptual and research/analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and rapidly analyze and integrate diverse information from varied sources into conclusion and recommendations.

    vi Demonstrated experience and ability to work with clients and partners, to influence without dominating, advise on politically difficult reforms, and gain and retain confidence in a personal ability to deliver on required products.

    vii Excellent listening as well as verbal and written communications skills and the ability to express complex strategies in simple and actionable terms. Full written and spoken fluency in English is required.
    viii Willingness to spend significant amounts of time outside of the office, including periodic travel to districts throughout the country.
    5. Supervision

    The Marketing Analyst will:
    i) Formally report to the WSP-Africa Principal Regional Team Leader (PRTL) based in Nairobi, on all substantive and professional matters.
    ii) Report regularly to WSP Uganda country team and the Uganda National Hand washing Steering Committee and to which S/he will be a member and act as secretary to the committee.
    iii) She/he will in consultation with the chairperson convene regular meetings to share updated programme related information, discuss issues and action required. S/he will keep notes from the monthly meetings. S/he will also be a member of the communication subcommittee.
    iv) Liaise with the WSP-AF Sanitation and Hygiene team, and the global network of Handwashing country coordinators, with an emphasis on East Africa to keep up-to-date on recent technical developments, carry out troubleshooting, and share partnership experiences.

    Naomba kutoa msisitizo kwa wale walioko kwenye ajira, wazingatie kujiendeleza na wawe wafuatiliaji kwenye ajira zenye motisha zaidi.
