    What makes us Tanzanians?

    Is it the certificate?

Is it because of our parents citizenship?

Is it the language we speak or the color of our skin?

Are we barely inhabitants or actually making our difference in our mother land?

It seems Tanzanians are sleeping and we are just Tanzanians by name and tradition.

Let us remember the words from JFK's inaugural speech: Ask not what your country can do but what you can do for your country.

What are we doing for Tanzania?

Aina moja ya karimani ni hii. Haya tunasubiri mchango wako.

    What makes us Tanzanians?
Nini kinatufanya sisi kuwa ni Watanzania?

    Is it the certificate?
    Je, ni
cheti, cheti cha kuzaliwa, hati ya uraia?

Is it because of our parents citizenship?

Is it the language we speak or the color of our skin?

Are we barely inhabitants or actually making our difference in our mother land?

It seems Tanzanians are sleeping and we are just Tanzanians by name and tradition.

Let us remember the words from JFK's inaugural speech: Ask not what your country can do but what you can do for your country.

What are we doing for Tanzania?
    Tufanye nini
    kwa ajili ya Tanzania?
Nini tutafanya kwa ajili ya nchi yetu?

    JKN decided it,

    we found it that way,

we are told it is proud and rather a blessing to be so, eti we are the most blessed!

some folks decided to 'kill' Tanganyika and therefore we are Tanzanians

citizenship certificates? who has any? anyway anybody can get it so... not a big deal

anyways, were you asking why are we what?
