    Tanzania inawakaribisha wawekezaji ambao wataisaidia nchi, kutafuta, kuwekeza na kuongeza thamani zaidi ya maliasili ya gesi na mafuta kwa ajili ya maendeleo ya nchi yetu.

    Rais Kikwete amesema hayo leo asubuhi Ikulu, katika mazungumzo yake na Mheshimiwa Khalid Ghaanim Al Ghaith , Naibu Waziri wa Mambo ya Nje anayeshughulikia mambo ya Uchumi wa Umoja wa Falme za Kiarabu (UAE).
    "Tunawakaribisha wawekezaji kuja tusaidiane katika kutafuta mafuta na gesi, kwenye matumizi na hata kwenye kuwekeza katika viwanda ambavyo vitaongeza thamani zaidi kwa kutengeneza biadhaa zinazotokana na gesi." Rais amesema.
    Naibu Waziri huyo amefuatana na wafanyabiashara wakubwa ambao wamekuja nchini kufanya mazungumzo na kuelezea nia yao ya kuwekeza hapa nchini.
    Wafanya biashara hao wametoka Shirika la Nishati la Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi National Energy), Shirika la Maendeleo la Mubadala (Mubadala Development Company, Shirika la Mawasiliano la Etisalat (Etisalat Telecommunication) na kutoka Shirika la Ndege la Fly Dubai.
    Wafanyabiashara hao pia wamefanya mazungumzo na maafisa wengine wa serikali katika wizara husika wakati huo huo Rais Kikwete leo amewaapisha Majaji wawili wa Mahakama ya Rufani na Kamishna wa Tume ya Utumishi wa Mahakama.
    Majaji walioapishwa leo ni Jaji Semistoclis Simon Kaijage na Jaji Kipenka Msemembo Mussa, na Kamishana wa Tume ya Utumishi wa Mahakama ni Jaji Edward Mkandara Kakwezi Rutakangwa.

    Katika mazungumzo yao, Rais Kikwete na Balozi Kupela wameelezea uhusiano maalum uliopo baina ya Tanzania na Msumbiji kuwa ni wa kihistoria na ambao umezifanya nchi mbili hizi kuwa ndugu.
    Tanzania na Msumbiji zimekuwa mstari wa mbele katika mapambano ya Uhuru na Ukombozi wa nchi zilizo Kusini mwa Afrika kupitia vyama vya Frente De Libertacao de Mocambique (FRELIMO) na Tanganyika African National Union (TANU).
    Rais Kikwete na Balozi Kupela pia wamefahamiana miaka mingi ambapo kwa pamoja walikuwemo kwenye jumuiya za vijana za vyama vyao (Youth League) TANU kwa Tanzania na FRELIMO kwa Msumbiji.
    Katika kipindi hicho shughuli za ukombozi zilipewa umuhimu mkubwa kwamba ukipigania Msumbiji ni sawa na kuipigania Tanzania.
    Tanzania, Chini ya Hayati Baba wa Taifa Mwalimu Julius Nyerere, ilitoa mchango mkubwa katika kukijenga chama cha FRELIMOhadi kuwa Chama imara cha Ukombozi nchini Msumbiji na Kusini mwa Afrika kwa ujumla.

    Investment ya USD 20bn kwa mwaka? Only a fool anaweza kukaa chini na kusoma proposal ya kitapeli kiasi hicho. Kama kweli Prof Muhongo amewatimulia mbali basi nitamheshimu sana.

    GDP ya Tanzania ni USD 23bn, anakuja mwarabu na kusema atawekeza almost amount sawa na uchumi kwa mwaka mmoja? Hivi mleta hoja unajua huu utapeli wa kiarabu?
