For the first time, water has joined a list of impediments to doing business in the country.
This is according to the newly released ‘Business leader perceptions of the investment climate in Tanzania – 2011' report.
Top business leaders interviewed in the survey, argue that while power is consistently the biggest problem with roads regularly second-and corruption returning to the list.
The report shows access to finance has dropped a bit, but water, which had never featured on the list previously, is now cited as a problem by people who lead various businesses in the country.
