Chuo kikuu cha Dar es salaam kama vyuo vingine katika utaratibu wake wa kutoa degree za heshima waliwahi kumtunuku Honorary degree Mwl Julius Kambarage Nyerere mwaka 1985 lakini tangu wakati huo sijaona mahali Mwl akiwa addressed kwa jina la Dr J.K.Nyerere

Mwaka 2006 walimtunuku degree ya heshima raisi mstaafu B.W Mkapa lakini naye pia media hazimu adress kama Dr B.W.Mkapa ila huyu mwenzetu kupewa tu videgree vya heshima tayari watu wamekomalia Dr, Dr. Ina raha gani hii doctorial degree ya kupewa?

Hapa kuna tatizo pande mbili. Mosi anayekubali kuitwa dk wakati hata kwenye chumba cha dessertation haki hajawahi kukanyaga kuulizwa maswali hadi mtu unakunywa maji hakijui. Pili ni wale wanamuita Daktari wakati wakijua hana sifa au wao hawajui chochote kutokana na kuwa vihiyo au kujipendekeza. Sitataja jina. Kuna blog moja inapenda kujipendekeza kwa mfano kwa Kikwete kwa kumuita dokta. Kwa wanaopenda utani wanaweza kusoma safu yangu kwenye Tanzania Daima ambapo nimeamua kuwaita wanywa kahawa wote madaktari ili kuwafanya wahusika lau waone aibu. Hawa hawana tofauti na wafanya mazingaombwe au waganga wa kienyeji wasiojua hata kusoma wanaojiita madaktari. Ni aibu iliyoje?

The past recipients of the Award are:

1995 Dr. Julius K. Nyerere (Former President of Tanzania) 1996 Dr. A. T. Ariyaratne (Sri Lankan social scientist) 1997 Dr. Gerhard Fischer (Former German diplomat) 1998 Ramakrishna Mission 1999 Shri Murlidhar Devidas Amte (Baba Amte) 2000 Dr. Nelson Mandela and Grameen Bank, Bangladesh

In 1982 Shah Industries had 302 workers on its payroll, 55 of them with disabilities. Business has not been so good recently because of heavy government taxes: Shah still employs 26, of whom 15 are disabled.

His contributions to the local community were recognised in 1995 by the award of the Order of the Arusha Declaration First Class, presented in person by President Mwinyi.Shah Industries Ltd. has been manufacturing handicrafts over 50 years. Here in the picture, Father of the Nation, the late President Dr. Julius K. Nyerere, visited Shah Industries on 14 October 1977. The President admired leather work, with Mr. Himat Shah and Mr. Devchand Nathu Shah (on Nyerere's right) looking on.

Hakuna kitu kibaya katika maisha kama kutumia njia ya mkato kupata maendeleo ya kielimu. Hii inaua Hali ya kujituma kupata maendeleo kwa watoto na vijana walio shule. Inajenga mazingira ya kila kitu kinawezekana bila kujenga msingi wa kupata kila kitu kwa utaratibu na wakati. Hii ni dhambi kubwa ambayo gharama yake kwa jamii yetu tutailipia kwa muda mrefu
