SHENG is a street language. Please take it as such, a street language. OMG.
No one has claimed sheng to be perfect kiswahili.
What does MAMBO mean? It's the same as that SASA.

I do not see anyone here write about UGANDA and the english they speak...
they have refused to accept and learn Swahili and no one is saying anything. Every city in this world has its own version of their lingua franca-AKA street language.

In Nigeria they have pidgin english, creole in the West Indies, the jamaican patois... Go to Rome and do as the Romans do.
If you are in Kenyaa/ Nairobi, taka usitake they will address you in sheng on the streets get used to it.
It's getting alittle bit tired "Kenya this Kenya that"... "Oh Kenya oh mara Nairobi oh" Its enough already!!...
Let us have reasonable arguments and debates that educate and not just propagate hate and unneccesary bad blood...

This is wrong.

    Cynic,
You are 100% correct!!! Just like in english, kuna British english, American Australian, Newzealand version of it...and yet all are termed as English. You summed it up.
Even in that England itself, the english spoken varies form region to region. the same is for Kiswahili.
As much as the Kiswahili in the Kenyan Coast is sanifu it is slightly different from the TZ Kiswahili, Try the one in LAMU!!! it is different yet all is Kiswahili.

It's better to use this forum ya lugha, ku funza lugha...
there are so many people out there who are interesed in learning Kiswahili...

    Long Live Kiswahili.

Are you not reading the same kikoloni that i have written?

Like I wrote before i really do not have air time for your kind of uchokozi.

Look for a topic herein and join in the debate and do not pick on me.

I'm no ashamed to write in kikoloni as you call it. It is what it is...and trying to ridicule me is not gonna change anything.

I speak and write both english and kiswahili and i choose to communicate in english....that is my choice.

YOU DO YOU and I DO ME!!! Comprende!!

I agree totally with you . It is time to stop cultivating xenophobia . We might just find ourselves in the same situation that we had sometime back in South Africa. Its time to wake up , smell the coffee and stop blaming other strengths for our weaknesses

    'NUFF SAID !!!!

Where we dare to talk openly about hate or what? Why tunaanza kuwa against everything watoto wa kambo wanachofanya? pamoja na kwamba I am always against them based on my own reason lakini on this issue I dont see any ground for us kuwaattack.

I do love their Sheng its unique. Many of Sheng words zimetoka kwetu ila sisi hatukai na maneno saana huwa tunareplace very quickly si mnakumbuka "nyapu", "shori", "demu","bati", etc.

We Tanzanians, we are not HATERS to that level carry on Step Brothers with your Sheng. Mazee nawakilisha
