Yes they need to stand against Israel but in doing so they give the Israel an excuse to say Iran is a threat and arming what they refer to as terrorosts groups. In doing so it gives Israel an excuse to attack and put its racism policies towards the poor Palestines.

At the same time most of the educated mass in Iran are tired of living with sanctions and want freedom with their lives. Politicising the social without their consent due to his beliefs. No good.

Our leaders have yet to understand what, Europe sees us for. A cow to milk and nothing else. Sub-Sahara Africa has only a population of 1bn people. If only we learned to respect our scholars, put a strong emphasize on our education systems, put functionable laws, plan for our future without aid, finding ways to use our resources. It only took them about two decades, but they had an army of educated to pull themselves out.

Without that we will always be the beggars, though we know what needs to be done but we havent got the guts to go there. Fear of the west this is why Gadaffi insists on the stronger African Union with stronger laws. He knows individual nations can not stand against the tacticians of the west who understands us more than we understand ourselves.
