Labda itokee rais, waziri mkuu ama waziri yoyote apigwe mzinga barabarani na afe papo hapo ndio sheria za barabarani zaitaanza kuzingatiwa.
But tusipo zingatia sheria tunakusa sisi, not them. We just need to be aware that huwezi kuacha kuchunga maisha yako sababu hakuna alie kwambia ujichunge... that would be irresponsibility at its worse.

Madereva wetu ni madereva kwa kiasi gani? Au ndiyo yale yale ya kujua kukanyaga mafuta halafu kichwa kimejaa pombe, bangi au mtindio wa akili! I think kutotumia reasoning when driving kunachangia sana ajari za barabarani. Kweli watu wengi tunafika tunakokwenda by sheer luck!

Siku zinavozidi kwena ndio ajali za barabarni zinavozidi kushamiri katika maeneo mbali mbali ya nchi…. Kumekua na ajali nyingi na mbaya za watu kupoteza maisha ama kulemaa hadi maeneo ambayo bara bara ni nzuri kabisa hadi observers mwashangaa hasa ilikuaje.

Katika historia ya inchi yetu hii changa sasa hivi idadi ya wamiliki wa magari ni kubwa than ever before… Leseni zinavotolewa na mafunzo yanayotolewa kwa wananchi wengi ni ya kienyeji mno! Na ni ukweli na uwazi usiopingika kwamba Watanzania tulio wengi ni mabingwa wa kupenda shortcuts na twapenda saana kurahisisha mambo. Idadi kubwa za lesseni za magari hutolewa hata mhusika anaekatiwa hayupo hapo walau hata kwa interview kuhakikisha kua kweli kapitia Mafunzo stahili.

Serkali imekuja na system mpya na nzuri ya njia ya kupata lesseni (toka lesseni mpya ziwe introduced) as much as kuna some unneccessary berueacracy zinahusishwa pale; ukweli unabaki kua kama kila mmoja ambae ana lesseni angepitia zile stages zooote; hata hao wenye age 50+ ambao wamewekwa kama exceptions katika baadhi ya vipengele – ingeweza kabisa ku minimise idadi ya Lesseni zisizo stahili. Ajali nyingi ambazo zingetokea zingeweza kabisa kuepukika ama kuokoa maisha endapo tu huyo mhusika angeweza pata tip husika. JF is a social network with more than 60000 members… Naamini kwa dhati kabisa kua hatutakosa tips za kutosha kuweza zingatia tuwapo barabarani.

Na naamini pia kwmba ni weengi ambao wamepitia experience za road accidents nyiiingi na kwamba waweza share those terrible/horrible na terrible experiences na sababu zilizo cause na ni dhahiri kua zingeweza kwepeka kabisa. Poleni woote ambao mshawahi pata ajali, mshawahi poteza wapendwa/ndugu na jamaa katika ajali na hata kama ushawahi guswa in one way or another katika ajali hizi za kila siku za barabarani.
Kuna wengine ni madereva kabisa lakini hata alama za barabarani hawajui za maanisha nini na wala ziko ngapi… Watu wanakufa kwa ajali ni wengi jamani inabidi tubadilike… na naamini nakujua kua Change starts from us. Tujaribu kua responsible na tuweze kumbushana. Nitashukuru kwa wale woote ambao watatupa uzoefu wao na kutoa tips…. Hata kama ni moja ama a List of them.

  • Please don't drive and use a mobile… Ni wengi saana wadharau hii tip, but ni moja ya factor ambayo inachangia saana ajali. Hio ajali sio lazima ipoteze maisha but hata ile tu kuharibu resources (in this sense gari yako) na kuanza gharama ambazo ungeweza epusha.

  • Please do not overtake kwenye corner na hata mahala popote hatari bila kupewa ruhusa na aliekutangulia. Ni hatari.

  • Please do not forget to use your seat belt.

Umeona sasa! Yaani driving skills zetu haziko sawasawa. Tunajua kukanyaga mafuta tu na kukwepa foleni kwa pembeni. Tunaendeshea uzoefu zaidi kuliko elimu maana magari yanabadilika technogy kila siku,barabara zinaboreshwa na watumiaji wazembe wanaongezeka halafu sisi hatu update skills zetu. Tunategemea nini? Bila elimu mbona ipo kazi...hata kama tuna waganga wote maarufu duniani kitu muhimu kukikamata ni elimu ya kila kitu tunachoikifanya.
 
1. Dereva aliesababisha ajali (kugonga gari nyingine, mtu, etc) anaweza kukimbia kutoka hapo ajali ilipotokea ili kujinusuru na aidha
kipigo etc kutoka Wananchi wenye hasira, lakini atapaswa kuripoti kituo cha Polisi ndani ya masaa 12 tangu kutokea kwa Ajali na
kutoa taarifa za ajali husika.
2. Watembea kwa Miguu(Pedestrians) wanapaswa kutembea upande mkabala na upande ambao magari yanapita. Mfano kama Gari
linaelekea/pita upande wa kushoto wa Barabara, basi mtembea kwa miguu apite upande wa kulia and vice versa, kifupi Mtembea
kwa miguu anapaswa alione gari etc linalokuja mbele yake na sio kulipa mgongo.

If you're driving Please….
•DON'T TALK ON THE PHONE AND DRIVE!
•Avoid travelling late at night
•Check that your car is in good condition to avoid breakdowns on the road
•Avoid speeding, good weather conditions and roads do not favour it, and of course excess speed kills!

Always signal before changing lanes or turning & avoid sudden manoeuvres. If you lose a tyre or your vehicle starts to skid, steer gently but do not slam on your brakes or accelerator.

Ubaya wa cellphone sio tu upande wa kuishika or using headphones..... IMO naona inapunguza alertness na concetration kwa dereva. Imagine maybe anapata taarifa mbaya alafu yupo mahala pabaya pa kuweza sababiisha ajali.....

Tunaendesha tuwahi kufika regardless ya gharama gani tunaitumia kufanya hivyo. Ila udereva nao umeingiliwa. Especially wa vyombo vikubwa vya uasafiri na usafirishaji.
 
Anti, may I add that gari kubwa zinatakiwa kua na njia zao
za kutoka bandarini na kwenda moja kwa moja industrial area au mikoani/nchi za nje.
Sometimes ajali ya kawaida kabisa inasababisha vifo sababu ya size ya gari pia.
Unakuta lorry kubwaaaaa, limefail kufunga break au limepinduka...
Mi nimeskia nchi zingine zina 'rings' za kuziwia magari makubwa kujichanganya na gari kama daladala etc.

Just today morning, i was in the car with one Ghanaian friend tunakatisha kwenye njia panda , jamaa mmoja akapita kama hakuna taa taa, mghana wa watu cha kwanza kusema "that guy must be from africa", even if we switch today and all of us move to developed countries and they move to our countries bado tutauana barabarani kama kuku.... THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG SOMEWHERE AND I DONT WANT TO GO THERE
