We are looking for people to fill a variety of Foreign Service positions overseas (for both career and limited term appointments), Civil Service positions in Washington DC, and interns. A background in development is not required for all positions; we are building a workforce rich in diversity and technical fields, with strong analytical capabilities. Urgent Need:
Currently our most urgent hiring needs are for positions in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Our minimum requirements for these positions are a masters degree and at least 3 years of experience working overseas, or a Bachelors degree and 8 years of work experience. We urgently need people with skills in the following areas:
- Agriculture
- General Development (multi-sector program management)
- Engineering
- Private Enterprise
- Education
- Health
- Crisis Stabilization and Governance
We also have an urgent need for Contracting Officers at multiple levels. The minimum requirements for these positions are a bachelors degree and one (1) year of specialized experience in the procedures governing procurements using a variety of contracting methods.
