USAID is hiring!

We are looking for people to fill a variety of Foreign Service positions overseas (for both career and limited term appointments), Civil Service positions in Washington DC, and interns. A background in development is not required for all positions; we are building a workforce rich in diversity and technical fields, with strong analytical capabilities. We invite you to review our career pages fully to see what opportunities we currently have available that match your skills and experience.

USAID should be a ’mixing pot’ of people with backgrounds in banking, health, education, engineering, energy, and consulting, so the agency can incorporate best practices from industry into its operations. We’re looking for people who are fundamentally entrepreneurial, and who can bring a ‘Yes we can approach’ to USAID.”
— Dr Shah, USAID Administrator
