- The most expensive university course is the B Sc in Architecture at Uganda Martyrs University in Nkozi, which goes for Shs2, 200,000 per semester in tuition fees alone.
- The most affordable course across the board is BA Education at Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU). It costs Shs511, 000. The most expensive Education course is at UCU in Mukono and costs Shs1, 038, 000 per semester.
- The most expensive law course is taught at Makerere, which costs Shs 1,260,000 and is closely followed by Kampala International University at 1,217,000. The lowest fees for a Law degree is Shs 797,000 at Kumi University.
- All Engineering courses at Makerere University cost Shs 1,555,000, and the university continues to remain the most versatile, having the bulk of Engineering disciplines to the extent that it is the only one offering Electrical Engineering for instance.
- The most expensive ICT course can be found at Makerere University where it costs Shs 1,890,000. The most affordable ICT course is at Kampala University and it costs Shs 748,000 per semester. Makerere University also has the most expensive BSc Agriculture course at Shs 1,344,000 while the most affordable one is at Uganda Christian University Mukono and goes for Shs 1,038,000.
