Ufisadi haukuanzia awamu ya nne!

what mwandishi wa hii thread is trying to say is...

Augustine Moshi,
Mwalimu failure to build strong ecomony as anticipated by many does not justify any of the claim made by Zomba _ UFISADI.
Issa Shivji in his essay - The Silent Class Struggle in Tanzania, observe that 'Ujamaa would suffer at the hands of state bureaucrats. Capitalising on the need to Africanize the economy, the bureaucrats would seek to use state power for self- enrichment.'
The fact is - It never found its way during Mwalimu era til...I can list the all cabinet where they used to live (government housing) and what assets they own... Prof. Shivji knows this for a fact.
But after Azimio la Zanzibar as Prof. Shevji observed, MAFISADI found their way in. Systematically bend the rules to suit and support their hunger for wealth, serving their exploitative interests while giving us lip services.....

Two request brother Moshi...
1. Would love to hear names of those involved...besides is that the only case you kinda pick on to judge the all system?
2. Finding treasury empty!...A well manufactured theory! mkuu abu nambie kama haya maneno kweli then how did they manage the budget when Mwinyi came to power!.. maanake NOTHING means hakuna kitu.

Mkuu Mkandara,
Kwanza Salute kwako!

System maana yake ni kuwaambia watu there is a big brother watching you and they know everything. Havent you head we need to educate the people this government and its Fisadis thinks tanzanians are uneducated and uninformed about their lifes and what is happening in their countries and their government that they themselves elected. Today at the parliament the minister for government was trying to tell the mps not to question theft in the public money because it makes them embarass the government.

Kila Kijiji kuna kichaa wake.

Kweli kabisa, Jee ufisadi uendelee mpaka lini?

Naomba kuwasilisha:

After Tanganyika's independence, Nyerere tried to bring something new to birth. Inheriting a legacy of poverty and colonialism, the deck was stacked against him. It was one of the poorest countries in the world. A few diamonds, a small coffee-growing region, and fields of sisal did not add up to much for Tanzania, a country of nearly ten million people with six graduate teachers, and no all weather roads connecting the southern and northern sections of the country. Its mostly illiterate citizens were scattered over remote regions, often unable to find a common language, although they shared ample rigors as they wrested a meager subsistence from the soil or the sea.

Against long odds, he struggled to get out from under the lion's paw of neo-colonialism, knowing that if the people of Tanzania were to have a better life it would have to be built out of something other than self interest and unbridled competition. After vast investment in education, literacy rose phenomenally, and 83 percent of Tanzanians were able to read and write. Nyerere also succeeded in promoting Swahili so that it superseded dozens of tribal tongues to become a true national language.

Mwalimu tried to create a communitarian socialist state based on tribal values in a sea of neo-colonialism, with neighboring countries locked in tribal warfare fanned by ancient hatreds, colonial legacies and complicated by the competition for scarce economic resources. In those days the US and other colonial powers did not view the third world as a giant sweatshop but engine for super-profits and giant storehouse of raw materials.

Working with some of the poorest countries in the world, Nyerere squared off with the US and the old colonial powers to try and create a just society. And he never gave up. Later he would acknowledge that his attempts to collectivize farming were a mistake. Not because it was wrong but because it wouldn't work without resources. There was no escape from the world economic forces that dictated then, just as they dictate now, what can be allowed to exist and what has to be destroyed as a threat to profit. But still he tried. When the Germans offered to build a sugar factory in the Kilombero Valley in exchange for a naval base in Zanzibar Mwalimu turned them down because of his stand on foreigh aid with heavy political strings attached.

He preached Ujamaa and practised it. In other words he preached water and drank water. It is no wonder he was still popular 14 years after he left power because he led by example. He stood for idealism and principle. He remains the most honest leader East Africa has ever produced.

When Nyerere felt the members of Parliament, all elected from the single party, TANU (Tanganyikan African National Union), were out of touch with the people, he made them walk the two hundred miles through the countryside to the annual party meeting in Mwanza. Hot and dusty, they stayed with the people in the villages, re-experiencing the real conditions in the country, not those of the city and the educated civil service class. How they must have hated it!

When students at the university in Dar-es-Salaam, influenced by colonial ideas of privilege, went on strike when they were asked to share rooms, Mwalimu thought that perhaps they had forgotten that they were there to help build a nation and not ensure their own privilege. He suggested that it would be a good idea if they all went back to their villages to remember why they were there and where they came from. He sent them home and shut the university for the rest of the year.

"There is a time for planting and a time for harvesting", he would say adding "for us it is still a time for planting". Did they understand him? Did some of the people he led so eager to start harvesting they couldn't wait for him to step down? Like a true leader he had later to admit that he had failed.
Or had we failed him?.

Kutoshaurika kwa Mwalimu was a BIG PROBLEM!

Hivi majuzi tu...natokea INDONESIA...Wakanita HAAMBILKI!
HATA!SIKUBALI!
LITAKWENDA NA MTU HILI!
Watu vicheko!

HAPO....
