Local passengers have been complaining against KQ's regular cancellation of flights, delays and cargo loss which are backed up by a group of bullying staff members handling such matters. "I recently travelled on transit between Nairobi and Dar es Salaam but the experience was horrible, the flight was delayed for more than two hours and when we enquired to KQ staff at Jomo Kenyatta, they responded arrogantly," complained Joseph Mwamunyange, a resident of Dar es Salaam. Source: Daily News. Mr Mwamunyage said while waiting for the delayed flight, he spotted KQ's Managing Director, Titus Naikuni who was also travelling and when he approached him to complain, the chief executive equally rebuked him. "They take us for granted and our regulators have done nothing to discipline this airline which is enjoying a monopoly on the Dar es Salaam to Nairobi route," said Hamza Hassan, a resident of Kariakoo in the commercial capital who earlier last month had his baggage left in Nairobi. Mr Hassan said KQ is increasingly becoming a rogue airline among Tanzanians because of its misbehaving staff who look down upon local clients.
