Personally as much as ningependa kuishi kwa muda mrefu sana, ningependa kufa kabla ya immediate family yangu.

Another thing watu huwa tunaogopa kufa kwasababu ya the fear of the unknown and the thought that we havent done all we think we need to do in this world.

Au unavyozungumzia "the unknown" una maana gani?

Kuna watu ambao wame-make peace na kufa. Most of the times huwa either the very religious or atheists. Wengine just because of the simple fact that they are at peace with their lives (found and fulfilled their purpose type of thing) so naturally they are calmer when it comes to dying. Majority of us though even though tuna imani na mungu, kuna vitu tumefanya au hatujafanya kidini ambavyo vinaweza kutunfaya tusiwe na uhakika kama huko tuendako ni shwari.

To answer your question, even if everything in the world were to collapse and die the same day, if I will have personal issues to sort within myself about my life, bado nitaogopa.

    Mchongoma,

Mimi nafikiri hata kama tungepewa a second chance, bado tungevurunda tu. LOL

Sasa kama kila kitu kita collapse siku moja, then hizo personal issues za ku-sort zitabaki zifanye nini? Wanaokudai wote nao watazima fegi siku hiyo hiyo, kwa hiyo na deni nao litakufa...so peace of mind kama kawa...lol

Hahaha. Peace of mind sio kuhusu madeni (kwanza sina deni la mtu). Its a question whether I will be satisfied with the life that I've led until that time.

I highly doubt whether we (humans) can ever get satisfied with the life we live in. Muda ukifika inabidi tu tunyooshe mikono juu ku-salender.......hoping the unfilfilled ambitions will be satisfied by others who have left behind (if passed on)...

Have you ever wonder what it takes to satisfy yourself in this World?....whether by fulfilling your personal needs (and wants) or by providing caring to others...? I have no clue what it takes!

I think its human nature to be ambitious because it gives us a reason to wake up everymorning. And as long as one is giving 110% trying to achieve these ambitions, zisipofanyikiwa atasema nilijaribu kwa moyo wangu wote na roho itakuwa na amani.

To answer your question. For me its a mixture of both. Fulfilling needs and wants while doing something that actually matters. I would like to attain the Self-Actualization stage as Maslow put it in his hierachy of needs. But for now, Im not ready to die :).

There you go! The least we can do is to try.... "get rich or die trying" kinda way...lol!

In my opinion, nobody should be ready to die. Inabidi tubanane humu humu Duniani, trying hard to fill the bucket of our ambitions. The thing is, while some people are sweating hard to feel their buckets, others are busy punching it to let the "goodies" leak out.

I agree with you here. We should squeeze in every breathe possible. Life in the end, is a beautiful thing!
