    Dear Satcom, Five months ago, I had a problem with the Company (SATCOM) as you could not be able to pay me when I was on my leave, and as a result I could not be able to attend/resume my job due to financial crisis I had. In spite of tried several times to talk to you as to reach a conclusion and resolve the situation, but still as company you failed to explain to me why you could not pay me while I was on my leave.

    Further, Satcom ceased my employment without any notice or anything else in spite of having a CONTRACT AGREEMENT OF PERMANET EMPLOYEE and which has not breached yet following formal procedures/official manners. It had cost me a lot, when you asked me not to resume my work, just for you being specious with me, if I could come back from my leave or not. I lived a very had life in followed three months later, as you over suddenly ceased my employment and left me hanging in streets in spite of working with you so honestly and faithfully.

    I thank GOD that he was with me on my all troubles. Now I have gained power and I am having enough energy to fight for my rights and other employees' rights. For the matter of fact, I need to take the company to court, for the following reasons; 1. Its normal and very life style for SATCOM to ceased employees employment without notice and in most cases without paying them anything. A thing which happened for me and so many others such as; Malinda Ramadhani, Erasto Rapahel, Alice, Binna katikiro, , etc.

    2. SATCOM has been stealing from me for all 2 years which I have been working with them. - When I joined we agreed salary to be 250,000 Tshs, where by I was deducted 20,000 Tshs as PPF contributions, and as expected SATCOM was also supposed to contribute the same amount on my PPF account, therefore, I was supposed to be contributed the total of 40,000 Tshs each month on my PPF account.

    This has been done, even after I had an increments on my salary twice times. - First was from 250,000 Tshs to 350,000Tshs, whereby I was supposed to be deducted 35,000Tshs as PPF contributions and and Satcom, was supposed to contribute the same amount. Instead I was only deducted 20,000Ths , which was a gain contribution for both parties. -Secondly was from 350,000Tshs to 550,000Tshs whereby I was supposed to be deducted 55,000Tshs as PPF contributions and Satcom, was supposed to contribute the same amount.

    Instead I was only deducted 30,000Ths , which was again contribution for both parties (max & Satcom). -VASUDHA( UNQUALIFIED HR) I left you with three copies of my salary sleeps so you can check and share those sleeps with your fellow as to witness on what I am talking here. PPF/NSSF contribution is only 10% of employee's Salary whereby employer is suppossed to contribute the same amount to employees. -SATCOM was displaying my basic salary as 100,000 Tshs which was not correct, and 10,000 Tshs as my PPF contributions,

    this means; the 20,000Tshs, which I was been deducted from my salary initially (250,000) was the same amount which was going to PPF as my monthly contributions for us both (Maxmillian and Satcom). By doing this, the company has been stealing from me for not contributing the extra 20,000Tshs from the company to my PPF account for all those years I have worked with the company. This also implies that, this bad behavior of the company is also affecting the rest of employees, but they can not talk as they afraid, if they do so they will lose their jobs. - Further, this is not only stealing from poor employees, but also is the theft for NSSF/PPF as organizations, thus they will also need to play a part on this case.

    As its not enough, this ends up on contributing less on TAX which is supposed to be collect for boosting up country's economy. - Also you have a lot of experts, which are not qualified as well as not supposed to have what they are paid compared to local experts who are real professionals and real workers. - You as a company, you do not have equality (equal right and treatment s) to all your employees, INDIANS as highly paid compared to LOCAL ones, but when it comes to work, local employees are the ones who generates almost 85% of the company's income, which you usually use to favor your fellow Indians in spite of their qualification less.

    Now, I am asking the company to provide me with an explanation on the following areas within five (5) working days as starting from 6th October 2008. 1. Company should state clearly why it has ceased my employment without any notice. 2. Why the company ceased my employment without any prior notice or any settlements to be done with me. 3. Why company has been stealing from me by not contributing the right amount to my PPF account? 4. Why is the company keep on stealing from other employees up to moment as how it did to me with my PPF? 5.

    Why is company avoiding contributing to our COUNTRY ECONOMIC GROWTH, by contributing TAX which is supposed to and not as exactly what is right now? 6. Why the company's Salary sleeps does not clearly state the actual employee earnings and deductions? {GOVT. has reduced the taxes, thus we expect employees gross and net salaries to rise compared to before being reduced.

    I do not think this is the same with SATCOM Fail to answer my question with enough and satisfactory explanations, this will give me go ahead, on whatever plans I have in mind, which including; - Open a case on court - Talk to the Medias as to make sure everyone knows what is going on with these kinds of today's companies. - Make sure this bad behavior of mistreatment and injustice done by employers is stopped, I will make sure the issue is discussed in the Parliament and SATCOM to be mentioned as an example. - Make sure I stop all illegal issues which goes on with SATCOM, this includes; Migrations & working permits, number of expertise's required by the company, employment rules, regulations and policies should be followed. - Definitely, NSSF/PPF and the GOVERNMENT in general, will come into picture, as everyone will know that SATCOM are TAX EVEDERS.

    nne: kupunguza mishahara ya wafanyakazi ili kukweka kulipa kodi
    tano:Kumfukuza mfanyakazi halali bila notice ya kumfukuza ama kumsimamisha
    sita: kutomlipa mshahara wake hali kwa kipindi alichokuwa likizo

    Satcom wanamatatizo sana , halafu leo katika mkutano wa internet governance kuna baadhi ya mabosi wa satcom walikwepo , lakini ndio wanawatenda wafanyakazi wao hivi

    Nadhani huyu mfanyakazi aliyekumbwa na hili tatizo, inabidi kwanza aitishe mkutano na media aeleze hayo matatizo ili taasisi zote husika kama PPF/NSSF, TRA n.k. wajue na waanze kumfuatilia huyu mwajiri. Baada ya hapo afungue kesi ya madai dhidi ya mwajili.
    Ni muhimu sana kuliweka suala hili wazi kupitia vyombo vya habari. Lakini pia kama anavyokusudia kuzungumza na baadhi ya wabunge ili jambo hili lizungumzwe bungeni. Nina amini yapo makampuni mengi yanayofanya mchezo kama huu.

    Ni kweli lakini anahitaji msaada wa kisheria ili ajue afanye nini ili asijejikuta yupo kwenye matatizo makubwa zaidi. maana anatakiwa kuhakikisha anapata payslip zake zote
    barua za nyongeza za mshahara, ikiwezekana bank slip za employer kupeleka mishahra ili ajiridhishe kwamba tuhuma dhidi ya employer wake ni za kweli na ni wazi

    Dear Colleagues,

    I hope you have not forgotten that, few days/weeks ago, I wrote an email to Satcom requesting them to provide me with explanations within FIVE working days on what I called THEFT for what were my right and other employees’ rights.

    Satcom for her own reasons, failed to provide me with demanded explanations, which I took it as disrespectful towards the whole matter and it proves how much it does not care employees rights and welfares.

    Instead Satcom; decided to do the followings:

    Stop providing of hard copy of salary slips, as they afraid of those slips to be used as a weapon/proof to sue them and reveal the evils they always commit. So this proves on all my queries relating to salary slips to be true. Guys open up your eyes. They now providing soft copy of salary slips which are un-printable, so that you lack enough evidence incase you decide to query for your rights using the same slips.

    They have decided to review your work performance so that they add something to your salaries, this is as to cool you down and make you not to act or take the issue/matter seriously. Now, I personally decided to take the steps which I mentioned on my previous email, that I will take incase Satcom will not get back to me on time or not at all. I have decided to do this because they have not responded back to me.

    Below is what I have done so far to make sure I BRING SATCOM DOWN if they are not ready to change their ways.

    I have already consulted my lawyers regarding the same issue; Lawyers are now reviewing the facts and evidences which I provided to them. I am now negotiating with Medias as to have my issues to be published and announced over the Medias. As intension is everyone in this country to know what is going on with Satcom, thus other companies should be look-up with question mark (?) as well.

    I have contacted the other employees whose had worked with Satcom before, and asked them to join me and open as many cases as possible against Satcom (about 25 old employees agreed and they ready to sue Satcom). Because Satcom did not start to steal from us only, they started this longtime back, now they have to pay to whoever they steal from and who worked for them. I planned again to visit NSSF and PFF, as I will need to provide the all evidences which supports and proves on my queries against Satcom.

    Intension is to ask these institutions to open cases against SATCOM as well, because satcom has been cheating these institutions about employees’ salaries and which is against the LAW. And I will make sure that is happening, not matter what amount (RUSHWA) satcom will use to give to these institution as to let they not act.

    I have contacted to some of MPs and I have given the whole issue to them and asked them to make sure they follow-up on this matter and they talk about it in the one of parliament meetings. Now as my advice, please note and follow the following points below; All of Satcom, Soft-tech, E-cards and Learn It, you all have rights to be given a printable salary slips. Salary slips are the key rights of employees, you need to carry them home.

    This will help you incase the situation as mine happens to you. So all of you, you have to make sure this is changed immediately. It’s a life style to Satcom to give an increment to employees salaries, especially there is a crises happened. Please do not relax back due to a little increment that you are going to get. That is what you deserve and that’s why they review your work performance.

    Thus DO NOT TAKE IT AS A FAVOUR. I ask you all to unit and fight for your right in Satcom. I am calling upon your support guys, you and me we all have been stolen from our salaries by Satcom for all years we worked with it. They have been deducting us incase we lost some of properties and not paying us what exactly we deserve, Thus I am putting all satcom employees as my witnesses on my case against Satcom.

    I am again asking all employees to open a case (KESI ZA MADAI) against Satcom, as to make sure they pay you all what they had been stealing from you. It is our money which they have been stealing which makes them be was they are now and enjoy luxuries life, while us local employees suffering and working for them so hard.

    Every employee should query his/her NSSF/PPF account balances and see exactly what the status is. This will give you all a picture on how these INDIANS they came in here to harvest by oppressing the citizens in they companies. GUYS; I hope you all need to see you are treated as how Dhyanesh, Jayesh, Choksi and other Indians treated.

    This can not happen if you local employees you do not have a one SAY/VOICE towards the whole matter. Justice will not be done to you, if you will remain calm, due to whatever they will give or say to you. So please gather together and lets unit be one thing and eventually we will win at the end of this battle. I will need to quote one philosopher who said that; “BY OVERCOMING YOUR FEAR, YOU WILL EMERGE STRONG AND WINNER TO EVERY PROBLEM YOU ARE FACING”.

    I know, most of you afraid to talk or act as you are worried of loosing your jobs, but let me tell you, there employees rights which gives you a right of strike incase you are not satisfied with the way employer treats you. So do not be afraid guys, it’s about time to BRING CHANGES in the company for yourself and your fellow TANZANIANS who will join the company in future time.

    But, I need to ensure to you and Satcom that, I have officially picked up this fight and I will not rest until I see, justice is done to us all and Satcom pays for all damages she caused to us. I give my special thanks in advance as I hope you will all act and make sure we bring these oppressors down for good. Thank you in advance and wish you all the best on everything you do.
