    Towards Tanzania's general election:

As the campaigns begins, let us be frank and recollect our senses-lets be patriotic by electing into offices those whom our conscience approves. We should not by any means be taken up by those false prophesies, that someone is God's elect because God has not said but has given us power to see and convict the aspirants for their motives and past/present doings. It is at this point that I would like to remind those who do not think beyond their ideologies or should I say political fanaticism, that this is not the ordinary time, this is not the time for simple decision, neither is the time for unreasoning zeal towards one political party or another. It is not the time for CCM Vs CHADEMA neither for CUF and other political parties as substitutes, BUT it is the time for everyone of us to make a turning point in the history of our country, this very country that we love so much, the country of Tanzania. After so many years of bondage and living in the yokes of poverty led by poor leaders and poor policies that only benefits the few, creating economic status quo that we now experience; it is finally our time to make things change the way we wanted long before. This is the time that will define our credentials as patriots and define our undoubted zeal for our land.

We all have eyes and ears, we have seen and heard what our rulers have done to our beloved country. How they have turned our joy and hope into misery and doubts. A country endowed by all resources necessary for descent lives has become a country endowed by distress and despair. For how long shall we continue to live in the shadows of moral death?, for how long shall we assist them add afflictions and despondency into our lives and the lives of ours sons and daughters?

BUT, if we shall not stand in our place and execute proper judgment on October 31, then the prophesy by Ezekiel shall fit in our situation and our country that: “Son of man, prophesy against the people of Tanzania, who are prophesying, and say to those who prophesy from their own hearts: ‘Hear the word of the Lord!’ Thus says the Lord God, Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! Your prophets have been like jackals among ruins, O Tanzania. You have not gone up into the breaches, or built up a wall for the house of Tanzania, that it might stand in battle in the day of the Lord. They have seen false visions and lying divinations. They say, ‘Declares the Lord,’ when the Lord has not sent them, and yet they expect him to fulfill their word. Have you not seen a false vision and uttered a lying divination, whenever you have said, ‘Declares the Lord,’ although I have not spoken?”

This prophesy will apply to Tanzania when we fail to criticize our rulers and change exploitative regime that hurts the nation. We know that the current regime has brought us where we are now and will turn us into landless laborers if we let them, and YET we embrace them and their lies as if we are bewitched. We are plastering the wall with untempered mortar, whitewashing the ruling party and failing to convict them of their iniquities. We are preaching a message of peace, when there is no peace!... when we say "there is peace, then a sudden destruction".

So lets unite together to make an overhaul of the entire regime because no superficial changes can suffice our quest for change. And make no mistake, not one leader in the ruling party can lead us into our greater needs however how committed and good will he/she may be, because CCM has turned to be a giant black hole that sucks everything that comes into close proximity. We may elect those few committed aspirants for MPs from the ruling party for better decisions in the house but not for the presidency. We are provided with the ovals, we have to put our mark. The choices are in our hands....Its just the voice crying in the wilderness.
