Hebu punguzeni kutokujiamini huku, inatia aibu wakati mwingine.

Tuboreshe huduma tunazotoa kwanza. Mtu unajutahidi kupiga debe mpaka watu wanakubali kusafiri kwenda kutalii kwetu TZ.

Hatuhitaji to sale as a single destination what we need is to establish Tanzania as a brand that's all as Hawaii sells itself as Hawaii and not as the US! Tuachane na hawa wajinga wamekosa sera wanalazimisha ati tuuze pamoja! lets full utilize our potentials then when we reach the saturation point we can think of EA as a single destination! I am out of here!

Ungesoma ujumbe wangu wa awali usingekurupuka kunijibu bila ya takwimu ila majibu yako hata hivyo yanasaidia kufafanua ujumbe wangu. Sasa ngoja basi nikuwekee takwimu kidogo maana inaelekea wewe una hamu sana na kujua yanayojiri Kenya.

Mwaka Nchi Idadi Ya Wageni Watalii Kutoka Nje

    2007 Kenya 1,278,500
    2007 Tanzania 719,031

    2008 Kenya 936,100
    2008 Tanzania 765,000

Tulikua tunambulia less than 100 dollars per tourist.

as for me naoan inabidi tukubali challlnge ili tuendelee other wise tutaendelea kua masikini siku hadi siku na kubaki kugombana na serilikali juu ya mishahara,

Sijawahi ona nchi iliyojaa viongozi corrupt, ignorant,no vision kama bongo, nchi ina kila kitu kuanzia minerals, bandari, utalii wanguvu etc lakini bado ni maskini wa kutupwa, tuna nchi kama sita (malawi,Zambia,Uganda,Rwanda, burundi etc) zimetuzunguka ambazo zingeweza kutumia bandari yetu 100% na cargo yote millions of tones ingepitia kwetu lakini kinachofanyika sasa nchi zote hizo zinafikiria kutafuta alternative routes ili kuepuka Dar es salaam, nchi kama Hong Kong,Singapore,Dubai etc ukiangalia vizuri Economy zao zinategemea bandari zao sasa unajiuliza Dar es salaam ina tofauti gani?lakini hakuna cha ajabu maana hata watu wanaochangia humu utategemea nini wakipewa nchi kwa jinsi walivyokuwa shallow & petty, bado wanawaza stupid protectionsm na eti wakenya wana roho mbaya as if Business deals zinategemea roho ya mtu, wengine walivyokuwa makapuku wana boost eti expensive tourism is the way to go,it doesnt make any sense kulipisha foreigners different from citizens, mbona tukienda Las Vegas tunalipa sawa?mtalii huyo huyo akienda kenya analipa 50$ entry fee then unataka kum charge 300$ upande wa TZ,upuuzi mkubwa huu ndio maana wengi wanaishia Kenya

Despite global crisis EA ready as single tourist destination

The countdown to the annual East African premier travel and tourism show with a special focus of promoting the EA as a single tourist destination has begun, The Guardian on Sunday has learnt.
Karibu Travel and Tourism Fair (KTTF), the second largest show in the natural resources-rich-African continent, after 'Indaba in South Africa', will run from June 4 to 6 in Arusha. In spite of the subdued international tourism market due to the global financial crisis, organisers are upbeat that this year's exhibitors will eclipse last year's that recorded 250 participants,
"Nearly 300 exhibitors are anticipated to take part in this year's fair along with media and thousands of regional and international visitors," said anzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO), Executive Secretary Mustapha Akuunay.
With little more than three weeks to go for KTTF to take place at Magereza Open Grounds near Arusha Airport, anticipation and excitement are building up for the event which some people have described as "the most significant show ever."
This year the KTTF fair focuses on marketing the EA as a single tourist destination, an initiative that along with others puts the show in an enviable position, and potentially enormously lucrative position.
The major objective of KTTF is to raise the regional profile by promoting EA tourism to the global market and bring all key industry players in EA together in one place, at one time.
The fair also aims at creating opportunities for international visitors and overseas tour agents to meet and network with members of the EA tourism industry; bring new destinations and facilities and products to the attention of overseas tour agents as well as facilitate opportunities for overseas tour agents to visit the national parks and properties.
Amant Macha, head of the Tanzania Tourist Board said: "Tanzania is very proud that KTTF, which started as a modest initiative, has evolved into a major travel industry showcase for all the East African destinations." Part of the uniqueness and excitement of the KTTF is that it is an outdoor event that offers a real safari experience.
"Since America continues to be EA's number-one source market for tourists, we are making a special effort to attract more travel agents from the US market," Macha noted, adding that there were currently more than 1,400 qualified Tanzania travel agent specialists in the US.
