Times Up! Hadji, Nyoni and Mtasiwa must go Now!

Kila kitu kilikuwepo, they have just taken over..they are unlucky sababu haya mambo yameibuka kipindi wao wakiwa ndio viongozi wa wizara husika. Yangeweza kumkuta yeyote ambaye angekuwa anahold office kipindi hiki. Imagine leo doctorz wanalia unawaongezea wanachotaka...what do u expect? kesho waalimu watalia, wahasibu watalia, wakandarasi watalia na hata wahudumu!!

Madaktari need to come up with a counter move.

I am going to teach you for free. Here you are!

inverted comas = inverted commas

inverted comas means = inverted commas mean

Af na wewe jamaa yangu unakaa unajibizana na FF! Alikuwa kwenye tiba hivi majuzi bana msamehe!

Mwanakijiji,
Things are not working like that. You can't force someone to resign or to leave the office. For some guys resigning means you are weak, you can't rectify/solve problems at hand. Let's wait.. .its up to them to evaluate n make the so called hard decision depending on their concious!
With the current on going situation, I think we can't blame just one part. Both parties doctors n government should be blamed for failing to reach into an agreement!

Rejao I respect your reasoning. However, let us acknowledge that the level impunity among our leaders has gone beyond tolerance level. Apart from the trio, who is supposed to take responsibility and accountability? It is quite unbearable by any standards.

You could be partly right. But the other downside of these guys with authority in the Government is their unusual arrogance towards their less fortunate professional colleagues. You may be surprised that it could largely be their initial reaction towards the doctors' (interns) claims and the derogatory reference to the same as mere students that could have sparked and blown the whole issue into the current nightmare. Their persistence to prolong it as a political brow-beating contest with the Doctors has made it even worse not to mention the ridiculous ultimatum issued by the PM.

The first move to resolve the issue and restore confidence has to be getting rid of those incompetent demagogues at the helms of the Ministry. This will send a clear message to everyone that whoever is chosen to stay in those positions has to struggle to earn the respect of the key functionaries (medical professionals in this case). Then the rest of the process can proceed. I believe Tanzanian doctors are not that irrational as to not understand their economic and financial environment. They just do not want to be cheated and then disrespected!

We have waited and the wait is now over. These three must resign if they have any sense of duty to our nation left in them. They must be sacked if that sense of duty is left in the hearts of hearts of their superiors. For how long shall a nation be forced to kneel before the alter of the corrupt ruling elite? For how long shall incompent and mediocre leaders be left to reign as there is no one in the whole nation who can take them to task?

The three top officials at the MoHSW have shown that they are untouchable and the protection they enjoy within the government is absolute. Since the beginning of the current doctors' strike the trio have continue without a sense of 'urgency of the now'. Once the three are sacked/resign then the constructive negotiations between the striking doctors and the government can start and I believe the firing/resignations will assure the doctors that the government is serious enough and will make them return to work while the other issues are being hammered out.

So, time is up; its time for you three to go![/QUOTE

Nilitegemea JK afanye hilo pinde aliporudi, badala yake naye anaenda kuanza kufungua Mabenki na kuwaacha walalahoi wanakufa Muhimbili

Whom in your right mind can beat the challenge? "Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely", You?

incompent = incompetent

Small minds always concentrate on the structure of words and larger one concentrate on the idea/issue. Can you judge yourself please?

Kama kawa, serikali doro, rais doro, wananchi doro..... nothing moving, Mponda lied out his teeth to the bunge and wabunge a ok with it

tuna matatizo makubwa na legelege

Doctors need financial assistance now, the government is dragging the strike so that they can be broke and come back to work on Government terms, for this strike to succeed doctors should revise the way to get financial assistance

acha matusi mkuu... tafadhali

If the doctors are aggrieved because the minister for health out of ignorance mentioned that the INTERNS were not qualified doctors that in itself does not qualify to be the spark that ignited the doctors' strike because he mentioned it out of ignorance!!Even if the permanent secretary castigated them for their unfrindliness towards each other given their historical perspective that truth could not also warrant their downing their tools and letting poor wananchi die !! The doctors have made their point and the majority of the poulation is behind them ,now is high time they came back to work as a sign of caring for the suffering wananchi and not as a sign of giving in to the government's high handedness.
