    Farm Radio International (FRI) is an organization that promotes the use of radio combined with other ICTs to meet the communication needs of smallholder farmers. It offers rural development and food security initiatives a way to communicate with small holder farmers and rural households, and support their efforts.
    Farm Radio International is seeking to fill up the following three positions for its Arusha Regional Office:
    - Assistant Field Manager
    - Finance & Administration Manager
    - Driver Mechanic

    1.ASSISTANT FIELD MANAGER
    MAIN TASKS:
    • Coordinate the Implementations, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of programs
    • Identify prospective grants, sub-grant and partnership possibilities
    • Coordination and monitoring of project activities
    • Organizing training programs
    • Assist in organizing meetings, symposia and other events for Farm Radio
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • An MSC and At least 5 years’ experience in project management in Africa, including human resource, financial, and administrative management
    • Ability to identify and develop relations with funding partners, developing concept notes and proposals, negotiating contributions and grant agreements
    • Knowledge in managing, analyzing and presenting data and reports
    • Experience in agricultural research particularly in the use of participatory methodologies
    • Knowledge and skills in communication/training and facilitation

    2. FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
    MAIN TASKS:
    • Lead person for preparation of timely financial reports as required by each donor including the preparation of the project and organizational annual budgets.
    • Preparation and management of accounts.
    • Monitor, manage and report on all funds.
    • Advise management on issues such as national regulations and laws.
    • Participate in the decision making process on all major purchases made on behalf of the projects as well as advising on asset acquisitions.
    • Responsible for formulation and review of financial, personnel and other relevant policies and procedures.
    • Ensure that FRI inventory reports are up to date and design any control systems necessary for safe guarding of FRI assets.
    • Preparations of monthly budget monitoring reports for all projects and ensure that all transactions have sufficient and adequate documentation.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • A masters or at least a bachelor degree in Commerce, Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
    • Knowledge and experience in running day to day financial and administration management of an organization
    • Works with high standards of independence, integrity and confidentiality
    • Computer literate and familiar with basic computer software and accounting packages.
    • Minimum of 5 years managing donor funds

    3. DRIVER MECHANIC
    MAIN TASKS:
    • Maintaining vehicle movements and fuel records in log books
    • Keeping records of vehicle maintenance schedule and ensure the vehicles are regularly serviced
    • Skillfully and carefully drives vehicles to ensure safety of the vehicle, people and material
    • Checks and maintains vehicles and accessories in good working conditions
    • Errands and duties as needed by supervisors.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Holder of at least a form 4 certificate
    • Holder of class C driving license and certificate
    • Has at least 5 years working experience in related field
    • Trade Test Grade 1 or CBET level 3 will be an added advantage
    • Able to speak and write English and Kiswahil
