ROBINHO has dismissed talk of a January move to Barcelona by revealing he is targeting a title charge with Manchester City.
The Champions League winners are reported to be weighing up a move for the £32.5million former Real Madrid favourite.

But Brazil ace Robinho, 25, admits he has been impressed by the business done by City boss Mark Hughes this summer.

He said: "The club have set their sights high this year and backed that up in the transfer market.

"We've built a stronger squad than last year and can handle any team.

"There have been great additions - now we need to understand we must be stronger mentally.

"We can be like that this season and have what it takes to go for the title.

"The more I think about it, the more I think this year must be our year."

Manchester City star Robinho has admitted he is flattered to be linked with a move to Barcelona.
Barca coach Pep Guardiola

has confirmed he is an admirer of the Brazilian international fuelling rumours of a possible bid for his services when the transfer window reopens in January.
Robinho, who played for Barcelona's

bitter rivals Real Madrid before moving to City, concedes it would be hard to turn down a move to Camp Nou if Barcelona came calling for his services.
"It's not easy to say no to a team like Barcelona," Robinho told Marca.
"They are the European champions. It is a beautiful city and I like Spain a lot.
"I have always wanted to play at clubs like Barcelona. It's a great club, any player would be happy for them to show an interest.
"I am happy that a club like them have noticed me. Who would not want to play for a club alongside Xavi, [Andres] Iniesta, [Lionel] Messi, [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic and all the others.
"I like Barcelona, they're a great club."

Rennes have confirmed they have reported Manchester City to Fifa over the alleged poaching of French youngster Jeremy Helan.
City boss Mark Hughes

snapped up the teenage defender earlier this year after he reportedly opted against seeing out his first professional contract with Rennes.
The Clairefontaine academy player had been wanted by Manchester United

in 2008, but the Ligue 1 outfit dug in their heels over his departure.
With The Red Devils out of the picture City moved in, much to the anger of Rennes who insist that his pre-contract agreement tied both him and the club to a contract if he represented France at youth level.
