APA-Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) The Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (FEACC) of Ethiopia and the Tanzania-based Kilimanjaro International Organization agreed on Monday in Addis Ababa to carry out a corruption assessment study in Ethiopia.
According to the agreement, the assessment will be carried out in all the nine regional states of Ethiopia and two major cities ; Addis Ababa and Dire Dawa.The Tanzanian organization will be paid $ 461,000 to carry out the assessment.The money was secured from the World Bank, according to the agreement.The FEACC Commissioner, Ali Suleiman and the president of the Organization, Greyson Kiondo signed the agreement.Suleiman said that the assessment will help to show Ethiopia's status in relation to corruption and to set up a countrywide plan to solve the problem.The assessment is expected to be completed in 10 months.
