Kenya's economy will grow at a slower pace in the next two years than that of most of her East African neighbours, the World Bank has forecasted.

This vindicates research results released by Standard Chartered bank in November last year that indicated a possibility of Tanzania overtaking Kenya to become the leading economy in the region by the year 2030 if the country maintained consistency in the current growth rate.

Assuming too ,somehow unrealistically that Kenya's growth rate remain at current rate. Projecting two decades into the future is hazadous exercice given that drastic changes of governing factors may occur in betweeen.

As long as tutaendelea kuwa wanunuzi na hatuna cha kuuza nje Kenya watakuwa hatua moja mbele yetu daima.

Uchumi Unakuwa ndiyo, lakini mgeni amepewa ruhusa kuhamisha faida yote huko anakojua yeye, kwa mtindo huu tutabaki kuwa wachuuzi 'petty traders' for a long time.

We do love our country dearly but sadned by gross mismanagement of our affairs by the political class we forget to show affection for our beloved country.

Tanzania (or Tanganyika if you like) ina uwezo sio wa kuipita tu Kenya bali kuwa the leading economy in Africa.

    Watanzania wenzangu Inawezekana tufanye kazi
