Arusha — The European Commission in collaboration with a German non-governmental organization known as German Foundation for World Population (DSW) expects to reach out to a total of 1.5 million girls who are in the informal sectors in the Tanga, Kilimanjaro and Arusha Regions.

The outreach training is aimed at imparting sexual and reproductive health education to the youth.

Speaking to The Arusha Times, the Project Officer for DSW, Ms. Christina Shimba said their efforts were aimed at controlling the transmission of the HIV/AIDS virus.

The youths in those regions after getting the training, will be split into groups of thirty people in each region and be attached to different organizations such as DSW, 4H and Family Planning Association (UMATI).
