Ndugu,
We would like to alert the public, especially the air travlling public about the Oil Com recently won tender to refuel aircraft in Tanzania airports, possibly replacing BP. The safety of air travelling community is at ransom given the fact that most of aircraft accidents are strongly associated with adulterated fuel, the household practice of OilCom. I can foresee reputable international airlines such as KLM, BA and others, avoiding landng at JNIA and/or KIA being their strategy to do away with Oilcom's adulterated fuel, and therefore ensuring safety of their planes.
Pity for PAA air travellers together with those of other local airlines and chartered planes, which have started sucking the OilCom dirty fuel, especially at Mwanza airport.
Despite the much expected negative economic impact and air travel safety, Tanzanias should wait to see what grand corruption in public procurement and energy sectors will bring to their country.
