Taking Tanzania out of Dar es salaam & bring Dar es salaam back to Tanzania

Hi, I am new to jamii forums. I thought it is a great place to share what has been disturbing me for long. Whether it is only in Tanzania or else where in the world, Tanzania has this annoying incline on thinking that when you're in Dar (not any other place in Tanzania)then you are in Tanzania . It has even eaten up award ceremonies and big promotion events. Take the recent Vodacom bloggers awards recently for example, they,the organizers, ran out of categories to recognize and awarded radio journalists from Dar. Why? because they considered bloggers from Dar who apparently were not enough to make the event. There is a lot from Tanzania than what is in Dar alone. Look at creative innovations like www.news.tanzglo.com , where you find bookmarked content e.g from a blogger of Mbeya or Songea published and then 2 days later republished by a blogger in Dar and seen as though the Dar blogger is the source. Sucks!
