I was passing through a south african guideline on management of chronic/persistent diarhea in paediatrics, they are saying that at that stage of diarhea you can give the kid gentamicin orally 8mg/kg 4hrl for 3 days in combination with other drugs.I want to know how do you administer it,by just crashing the vial or what?Because to my knowledge I know there is no oral preparation of gentamicin only the injectables
