    Naomba msaada kidogo wa real experience ya watu kuhusu hiyo mada hapo juu.Im a businessman,ila nataka ku-expand into a very new business venture....kufungua a street corner sneakers store preferably pale Mwenge au Sinza au hata Mikocheni.Ni dedicated kwa ajili ya raba tu,ambazo ni origional kabisa preferably kutoka US na Germany.Zina-embrace utamaduni wa HipHop na basketball hasa ligi ya NBA.Marketing yake itatumia hasa NBA stars brands na major hiphop names,brand names kwenye inventory itakua Adidas (hasa zile low na superstar),Air Jordans,Nike,Converse na Asics.

    Nitalenga hasa low end (80%) na high end (20%) customers hasa wale wa 18yrs mpaka 45yrs waliokulia 80's,90's na 2000's miaka ya golden hiphop and basketball,wengi wao wapo makazini now and they have earnings. Maswali yangu ni:

    1.Je ni kweli 18yrs-45yrs Tanzanian can spend 50,000/= - 120,000/= to buy a geunine raba?Hasa kwa maisha yetu haya ya ki-Tz?
    2.Mzigo wa kuanzia,kwa duka la sizes kama yale ya mwenge ni pair ngapi hasa?600? or 1,000? or less than 600?
    3.Mwenye experience ni raba size gani hasa zinaenda sana kwenye soko?
    4.Ni kweli young tanzanians wanavaa raba zaidi ya viatu vya ngozi?
    5.Hivi ni kweli ile pride ya kuvaa Converse au Nike au Air Jordans au Air Force Ones au The Lebrons origional ipo among Tanzanian youths kama miaka ile ya 90's?
    6.Mwenye experience kwa siku au mwezi ulikua unaweza kuuza pair ngapi za high end sneakers?Je,youngmen walikua wanaulizia sana these brands (Adidas,Air Jordans,Nike,Converse na Asics)?

    Ntashukuru sana kwa michango yenu wadau.

    Alternatives ziko nyingi sana miguuni. Wateja wana options nyingi sana, na ule utamaduni wa kizungu na kimarekani kuvaa original brands hapa kwetu si mwingi kivile....Pia wanaosupport Hip hop wear ni wachache sana watakaoafford kununua raba lets say 1nce per quater annum... Jiulize swali jingine, Mtanzania wa kawaida ana Raba ngapi na ananunua mara ngapi kwa mwaka? ukipata jibu litakalokuridhisha endelea na idea yako. Ila to me, biashara haiendani na utamaduni na kasumba za watanzania...

    Kiongozi nimekusoma uzuri....im checking closely all the issues you have touched...pia 70% ya Tanzania are young people below 35yrs and all are not new to hiphop concept,they are living in it (infact raba ni sport and casual apparel na hiphop inaingia kama swagga tu,na sio anti-hiphop music guys do not wear raba) ,na alot of the 80's,90's are working now and they have income...if you have noticed,mwenge hamna sneaker below 50,000/= na guys are buying,hapo hujasemea levi's za pale woolworth na mlimani city ambapo ni ridiculously ghali,zizzou hakuna sneaker below 50,000/=.Pia kumbuka 80% of them ni plastics.Fact ingine ni kwamba these working guys may not come into the store because are busy,then you will get them online and deliver to them.

    Sio kwamba utauza massively to everybody.Unagonga kwa manati kama Mwenge tu pale,1 pair per day sio tatizo as long as unajitangaza taratibu taratibu hivo hivo kwa kila njia.

    What can we learn so that we can launch this store out?I appreciate your help sir.

    Seems like you've researched well on prices. Trend ya 1 sneaker per day mimi naiona ni lame. Utaenject kiasi gani kwenye biz yako, rent utalipa kiasi gani (au utauzia home), wages, bills + kuibiwa (keep it minimum). Elf 50 au 60 kwa siku ni 1.8m per month, je utaweza kupay back capital? Na kama umekopa, marejesho vipi?

    Otherwise good luck. Komaa tu, zizue anaweza, you should too.

    immitate same brands by creating a sound brand name and source them from countries like Turkey, the quality will be good and at low price as an alternative competitor advantage

    Kumbuka, biashara yoyote kwa sasa Tanzania inawezekana, bado hii nchi ni "virgin" kibiashara, wewe fanya tu. Usisite site, hakuna kisichowezekana maujanja yanakuja baada ya kuanza kufanya na si kabla, asikukatishe tamaa mtu. Just do it.

    Kuuza ngapi inategemea na utendaji wako zaidi na haitegemei bidhaa au soko likoje, hujasikia watu wanawauzia mchanga waarabu? wanawauzia wa Eskimo barafu? wanawauzia Tumbaku wanyamwezi?

    Kaka nakushahuri fikiria kwenye T- shirts,Shirts, Trousers( Jeans, Kadet, Za ofisini tunaita hizi za kitamba laini) bila kusahau na Shorts sikuhizi watu wanavaa sana.

    Nakushahuri hivi kwa sababu ni kweli kuwa mtu unaweza ukawa na Pair Moja ya Raba lakini una T-Shirt, shirts zaidi hata ya Tano. na Trouser hivyohivyo.

    Of course mkuu lazima extras siwepo ku-inhence variety na sellability.Lakini kwenye kupata identity na ku-build brand ili ieleweke hivo kwa mass,ndio tutaji-present kama only raba culture retail outlet,nadhani unanipata sana kwenye branding issue,tutasimama sana na brand kwakweli.
