    Neno kuoana lipo katika kauli ya kutendana,hivyo tunenapo kuwa"wameoana jana"si sahihi kwani mke haoi bali anaolewa,na mume ndo anaoa.

    ohh,mkuu inategemea kuwa umelichukuliaje neno hilo,
    mimi ninaweza kukuelezea kutokana na uelewa wangu wana JF watanisaidia kama nimekosea nitafafanua kama ifuatavyo:-

    1. KUOA- Ni mwanandoa moja anatoa gharama kumchukua mwenzi wake,naye atakuwa na nguvu katika mahusiano yao kuliko mwingine (mfano Wahindi Mwanamke hutoa Mahari ndiye anayeoa,Waafrika vivyo hivyo)
    2. KUOANA;-wote wanachangia gharama za kuwa wanandoa(Mfano Wazungu wote anakuwa na uwezo sawa ndani ya ndoa)
    Neno kuoa linamfanya moja kuwa Bwana na mwingine Mtwana,neno Kuoana linafanya wote kuwa sawa (life partner sio Slave)

    Athari za waziwazi za tafsiri sisisi ya sentenso ya kiIngereza, 'They got married.
    I married HIM.
    I married HER.
    Kwa kiIngereza ni 'kuoana' na inatofautisha na matumizi ya kiwakilishi tu.

    Naamini kwa utamaduni wetu ni sahihi kusema, 'Ameoa' kama ni mwanamume na 'Ameolewa' kama ni mwanamke. Naacha mjadala uendele katika 'wameoana'

    Lugha ni sauti za nasibu zinazozuka kibahati bahati tu na kutumika kwenye jamii bila makubaliano maalum..Hakuna fomula inayohakikisha kwamba tendo la "kuoa" lina uhusiano wa moja kwa moja na tendo la mwanamume kumtwaa na kummiliki mwanamke.Mimi naweza kusema hivi, kuoana ni kufanana tabia au sifa fulani fulani na bado nikawa sahihi vilevile, mfano nikisema,tabia za alex na musa zinaoana(zinafanana), au nikisema magari haya yanaoana(yanafanana)..je na hapa utasema nimekosea?

    Nadhan turejee kwenye maana ya msingi niliyoikusudia,nayo ni ile ya mkataba wa hiari ya watu wa jinsi mbili kukubaliana kuishi pamoja wakiwa mke na mume/wenza{ndoa} kwa mujibu wa mila na tamaduni za tanzania,dhana ya kufanana ni maana ya ziada ambayo si ile niizungumzayo mm.kwa tamaduni za tanzania mume huoa na mke huolewa,hivyo tunaposema "kuoana" maana yake ni kuwa hawa watu wametendana yaani kila mmoja ameoa,kitu ambacho kwa utamaduni wetu c sahihi.lazma mfahamu kuwa lugha ni sehemu ya utamaduni,hvyo lazma ifate kaida za utamaduni.hivyo c sahihi kusema "wameoana"kwani mke haoi jamani.jifunzeni kiswahili acheni siasa.

    Nakubaliana kabisa na Pangu pakavu, Gurta na Mahendeka. Kuoa ni neno la kiswahili na sio la kiingereza. Kutafsiri "get married" kuwa kuoana sio sahihi. Kuoa ni kitendo cha mwanamume kumlipia mahari mwanamke na kumchukua kuishi naye kama mke na mume. Mwanamume huoa na mwanamke huolewa. Na kusema kuoa au kuolewa kwa namna yoyote haimaanishi kutokuwapo na usawa kati yao. Kama ilivyoelezwa lugha haina mantiki katika uchaguzi wa dhana gani ibebe maana gani. Kwa hiyo sio sahihi kujaribu kuchukua mantiki ya lugha moja na kuibambikiza kwenye lugha nyingine.

    Chukulia tena mifano hii.:
    1. Kiswahili: Baba mdogo
    Kiingereza: Uncle
    2.Kisw: Mjomba
    Kiing: Uncle
    3: Aunt (shangazi, mama mdogo) n.k

    Kwa hiyo kila lugha ina mpangilio na namna zake.

    Swadakta senior bachelor,ulisemalo ni zaidi ya sahihi.ila kaka katika kudumisha lugha yetu adhimu unaonaje kama hilo jina lako likawa kwa kiswahili mf.MSEJA MWANDAMIZI badala ya senior bachelor?
