Nimefuatilia mijadala mimngi hapa JF inayohusu swala la mafao ya kujitoa.
Nimeona kuwa watu wengi hawajui kuwa mafao ya kujitoa PPF yapo kisheria na kudhani kuwa mafao hayo yanatolewa na PPF kama hisani tu.
Kwa sababu hiyo, SSRA, serikali na watu wengine wametumia mwanya huo kupotosha ukweli kuhusu mafao hayo, na kusema kuwa mafao hayo hayapo kisheria.
PPF Act No. 25 ya mwaka 2001, kifungu cha 44 kinasema yafuatayo:-

44.-(1) Where a member ceases to be employed in circumstances in which he is not eligible for any pension, gratuity or any other benefit under the provisions of this Act, he shall be refunded the amount of his own contributions and that of his employer to the Fund.
(2) Where a member has been employed for a period of not less than five years and the
cessation of such employment is not due to dismissal for misconduct the amount of his own
contribution and that of his employer together with a simple interest at that rate to be determined
by the Board of Trustees shall be paid to him.
Kwa kifupi kabisa, mafao ya kujitoa PPF yapo kisheria kabisa, na wala sio hisani, na wala sio kinyume cha sheria.

Nimeona kuwa watu wengi hawajui kuwa mafao ya kujitoa PPF yapo kisheria na kudhani kuwa mafao hayo yanatolewa na PPF kama hisani tu.
Kwa sababu hiyo, SSRA, serikali na watu wengine wametumia mwanya huo kupotosha ukweli kuhusu mafao hayo, na kusema kuwa mafao hayo hayapo kisheria.
PPF Act No. 25 ya mwaka 2001, kifungu cha 44 kinasema yafuatayo:-
