    [FONT=&amp]Job Title: Senior Information Technology Officer-System Administrator[/FONT]
    [FONT=&amp]Reports to: ICT Manager[/FONT]
    [FONT=&amp]Location: Arusha[/FONT]
    [FONT=&amp]Purpose of the position:[/FONT]
    [FONT=&amp]To provide technical support in administration of all network/ system applications and hardware maintenance to ensure smooth running of ICT operations.[/FONT]
    [FONT=&amp]Major Responsibilities[/FONT]
    · [FONT=&amp]Ensure usage of an efficient and effective ICT infrastructure within WVT in line with partnership guidelines[/FONT]
    · [FONT=&amp]Ensure implementation and maintenance of MIS in accordance to WVT guidelines [/FONT]
    · [FONT=&amp]Monitoring of a customer focused support system and structure that delivers services, offers troubleshooting efficiently and effectively[/FONT]
    · [FONT=&amp]Ensure that performance management is practiced within the unit to enhance performance, smooth staff relations and accountability[/FONT]
    · [FONT=&amp]Provide supportive monitoring visits to zone/programs in order to ensure all systems and maintenance services offered by the Zonal ICTOs are within the standards. [/FONT]
    · [FONT=&amp]Capacity building to staff, [/FONT][FONT=&amp]informing of any changes on systems and other [/FONT][FONT=&amp]ICT related issues Ensure regular data backups with related data logs sheets in line with WV policies and guidelines [/FONT]
    · [FONT=&amp]Ensure implementation of IT policies, procedures, standards and guidelines and advise on any changes of the same[/FONT]

    [FONT=&amp]Other Competencies/Attributes:[/FONT]
    · [FONT=&amp]Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities. [/FONT]
    · [FONT=&amp]Perform other duties as required[/FONT]

    [FONT=&amp]Minimum Qualifications[/FONT]
    · [FONT=&amp]Qualification required: BSc in Computer Science or Information Technology.[/FONT]
    · [FONT=&amp]Experience: 3yrs [/FONT]
    [FONT=&amp]o [/FONT][FONT=&amp]Preferred:[/FONT][FONT=&amp]Cisco certified[/FONT]
    [FONT=&amp]Other: IT related business administration / project management experience is preferred.[/FONT]
    [FONT=&amp]Technical Skills & Abilities:[/FONT]
    [FONT=&amp]o [/FONT][FONT=&amp]Advanced Computer skills[/FONT]
    Database/Network management.
    Demonstrated ability in supervision
    Good planning and organizational skills
    Tact and diplomacy in dealing with staff-related to work environment needs
    Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff and public
