    mkuu mbona uko umeenda mbali sana,botswana wanapokea 40% na wanawalazimisha pia wawekezaj kujenga miundo mbinu,shule,hospitali,barabara etc kwenye sehemu ambapo kuna huo uwekezaji,sisi tanzania tumelala pia wajinga tukubali ilo

Tz mrabaha ni 4% lakini pia wanalipa corparate tax 30% on prifit, wanalipa withholding tax, income tax na VAT kwa mafuta yatumikayo kwa magari madogo LV, development skill levy wanalipa kifupi ukijumuisha zote ni zaidi ya 48% ya mapato yao TZ inapata. soma kodi zinazotozwa kwenye biashara hiyo

    Watu wanapotoshwa na wana harakati na wao bila kufikiria wana meza kila wanachoambiwa. 3% ni mrabaha tu. Ni 3% ya mauzo kabla ya kutoa kodi na gharama za uendeshaji.

    Mkuu hiyo kwenye bluu ni kweli. Norway wao huchukua 49 % na mwekezaji anachukua 51 %. Upo hapo? Na sasa kampuni yao (Wanorway) ya StatOil iko huko kwetu inachimba gesi sijuwi wamesaini mkataba gani na nchi yetu. Yaani tunaibiwa kupita maelezo.

    bhageshi... tuko familiar na hizo corporate tax, witholding taxes and all the loop holes that come with it.... So what is the big fuss about raising it from 3% to 4% then?..Sidahani Ireland wanalipa hizo 40% halafu wako exempt from income taxes etc etc?

    But you are right... my argument is weak and we cannot compare apple to strawberries..

    Mtawakimbiza wawekezaji halafu turudi kwenye foleni za kipande cha sabuni ilula !! hawa wanalipa kodi ka ipasavyo - tatizo labda ni matumizi ya hizo pesa. Tanzania ni nchi ngumu kuendesha maradi wowote ukilinganisha na nchi nyingine sababu huduma hazijajengeka kama umeme, barabara, usafiri, makazi n.k. kwa hiyo haya makampuni pia yana gharimika sana.

    Nyerere aliyaacha madini ardhini kwa madai kwamba watanzania bado hawajawa na utaalam wa kutosha.....mwanafunzi wake alipoingia madarakani akawa ni "YES SIR" to whatever the IMF or WB proposes..
