Experience:
George joined MRN&M Advocates in January 2004 as an Intern and soon thereafter was made Legal Officer. In July, 2004 he went to pursue the Bar Vocational Course (B.V.C) at the Inns of Court School of Law in London, after being admitted as a Member at the Middle Temple Inn and was called to the Utter Bar of England and Wales on 24th November, 2005.
His main areas of practice include advising clients on various project finance transactions, reviewing and drafting security documents, loan agreements, conducting extensive due diligence investigations for lending borrowing purposes.
- Advising the Millennium Challenge Corporation of the United States of America on various Tanzanian laws with respect to the Compact which was signed by the Presidents of Tanzania and the U.S.A in February, 2008 in Dar es Salaam.
Co-legal adviser to the first ever cross-border listing of a foreign commercial bank on the Dar-es-Salaam Stock Exchange.
