Quit Lecturing Africa On Politics, Raila Says

Thanks for dropping some knowledge, but in as much as we need some changes in our leadership, we also need to revise the trade terms that are currently in place, to hell with AGOA, what we need is an overhaul on the terms of trade between Africa and the west. We dont need lectures everyday, no, we need incentives which will make us compete on equall terms with the rest of the world. Mzungu doesnt give a damn about Africa, as long as we are a market for his products and a source for raw material, they give as some attention and they ensure that there is some peace around, but tukishaanza kujitoa katika market yao, we focus on China and the Middle East, they start distabilising our goverments and critisising whatever we do.

We need to emancipate our selves from mental slavery, we cant accomplish our vision 2030 if we are still being lectured about governance instead of concentrating on biting issues like feeding our people, and manufacturing our own stuff instead of importing simple things like iron boxes and stuff.

well Mh, now that doesnt become Just a kenyan problem but an African one, Smatta you seem to think most of these problems have only white man to blame for. You do not want to look the selfish roles our leaders play. You mention we need to get better deals with our trading patners. who are our trading patners. Most countries today still trade with their colonial masters, and these people dont interfere so much in other lands (ie where they dont trade). And when one African nations makes noises regarding its problems no other moves in to support the other especially on business matter. this is why Canal Gadaffi insists on a unit for us to have that voice and straight after his speech the West were the first to critize him because they understand with that comes the solution of your concerns or the begining of it.

ps im off, so see ya later

“We therefore don’t need lectures on how to govern ourselves... we only require lectures on how to trade not only with ourselves but with the rest of the world to enable us prosper.”

Msalie mtume! Eti mtu anasema msitu-lecture kwenye siasa, ila mtu-lecture kwenye biashara kati yetu!

Huyu ndio Odinga, supposedly among the best and the brightest of Africa's new leadership. Tumepigwa kipapai.

Tell me Odinga was misquoted, .....AHa-ha-ha-hah!
