    Hello everyone
    I'm starting new business of selling used Computers and Laptops, nime fungua duka just 2 months back, nakata advise from my fellow bongo brothers. please let me know if my prices are low, high or reasonable:rolleyes:

    i'm selling Pentium 4 with CRT 17'' monitor kuanzia 180,000/-
    Laptops za Dell, HP - Centrino Processor kuanzia 460,000/-
    Acer Aspire one netbook for $395 or 530,000/-

    Bei si mbaya ila sijui specification zingine za comp zako maana kwa mfano Pent 4 ina nini ndani zaidi? k.m processor na memory na HD? Hivi ndio vya maana na vinaweza kutufanya tujue je unauza ghali au?

    Mkuu umefanya vizuri kuuliza kabla mabo hayajawa ndivyosivyo. Ushauri wangu, so far unajua pango unalipa bei gani kwa mwezi/mwaka, pia unajua hizo computer unazinunua kwa bei gani, pia unajua ushuru na kodi unazolipa, kama unavijana wa kazi unajua unawalipa kiasi gani, kwa maauzo ya miezi miwili at least umepata flavour ya soko la bidhaa zako, zaidi unajua unataka ujilipe bei gani, Mwisho unajua gharama ya mtaji wako, kama ulikopa basi ni mkopo pamoja na riba, kama ni saving zako basi ni sharecapital hakuna riba.

    Fungua Excel spreadsheed kwenye computer yako fanya a simple financial analysis ya biashara yako ukispread cost and revenues kwa miezi 12 ya mwaka wa kwanza then tumia hiyo kama base kuproject for the next 5 or 10 years hivi. Unaweza kudiscount cashflow zako at preveiling lending rates then calculate Internal rate of return (IRR), Net present value (NPV). Kama IRR utakayoipata ipo over and above hiyo discount rate utakayokuwa umeitumia basi hutapata hasara. Lakini pia jaribu kufanya sensitivity (if senario) mfano assume sales zitashuka by say 10% uone hizo indicator zinabehave vipi. Mwisho unaweza kucalculate Benefit cost Ration (BCR) a measure of value for money. Indicator hii itakuonyesha kama unauza cheap or expensive. Normally kama indicator za mwanzo zipo fine BCR itakuwa greater than 1. Ukipata number kubwa sana means unauza so expensive and so your getting super frofit, nearly 1 means your selling so cheap ans so getting marginal profit and a moderate figure means your on track (welfare price).

    Eh mimi naona hiyo bei ni ya chini,hata uswahilini laptop zilizotumika sana huwezi ukapata chini ya laki 5,kwa mfano wengi huuza laptop si chini ya 650,000.00
    nafikiri unachoweza kufanya ni kufanya mkakati wa kutafuta masoko hasa kwa maeneneo yenye wanafunzi wa elimu ya juu ambako kuna mahitaji makubwa ya laptop,mkoa kama iringa kuna vyuo vingi,ungeenda huko vyuoni uombe nafasi ya kufanya hiyo biashara,pia arusha,mwanza na kilimanjaro.
