Hii kampuni kwa kweli ninapata shida sana juu ya uwepo wake na mchango wake kwa TZ. Hivi mnafahamu hii kampuni ndo main supplier wa natural gas ambayo inatolewa huko Songosongo na SONGAS (PANAFRICAN ENERGY LTD ni one of the major shareholders wa SONGAS).

Hawa PANAFRICAN wana supply gas TBL, SBL, Twiga Cement, YUASA, Murzah Oil, Detergents and Soap Industries, KAMAL Steel, KIOO LTD, Simba Steel, SILAFRICA LTD (mali ya Somaiya), NIDA Textile, URAFIKI Textile, TCC, Bora Industries, OK Plastics, Bakhresa Food and Processing Industries etc.

Sasa kwa makampuni yote hayo, PANAFRICAN wanatengeneza billions of money ambazo TANESCO ingeweza kupata kama uzalishaji na usambazaji wa gesi ungekua chini yao.

Ila kwa sababu BWM aliidhinisha mkabata mbovu ulioipa mandate SONGAS kuwa na power over our own gas, ndo mana tunaona upupu huo. Yaani eti hata TANESCO wanaununua gesi kutoka PANAFRICAN via SONGAS!

Hii nchi kwakweli mpaka tuingie barabarani kuutoa utawala dhalimu wa CCM ndo angalau tunaweza kua na dira ya namna ya kutumia rasilimali zetu kwa maendeleo ya taifa letu.

Ni furaha yangu kuwa na wakati huu kuzungumza yangu machache. MOJA nchi yetu inayumba.viongozi hawapo makini. mikataba mibovu wanaikubali.... wanasababisha hasara kwa taifa, hawana uchungu na nchi.

Kwa mfano ninapata shida sana juu ya uwepo wa kampuni hii na mchango wake kwa Tanzania.

Kwa taarifa ya wadau hii kampuni ndo main supplier wa natural gas kutoka Songosongo na SONGAS (PANAFRICAN ENERGY LTD ni one of the major shareholders wa SONGAS). Ni kampuni ambamo mafisadi nao wana share

Ndio maana mnaona inaweza kujiingiza ubia na makampuni mengine mengi. Sasa kwa makampuni yote hayo yanatengeneza mabillions ya pesa ambazo TANESCO ingeweza kupata kama uzalishaji na usambazaji wa gesi ungekua chini yao.

Ila kwa sababu za kifisadi na mikabata mibovu iliyo sababisha kampuni hii kupata tenda ndo mana tunaona madudu.

Siku ambayo tutaingia barabarani kuiondoa CCM ndo angalau tunaweza kusahau madudu haya

Mitambo kwenye mogodi ya uchimbaji dhahabu wako join venture na Komatsu ya Japan zamani kwenye migodi kulikuwa na catapilar sasa hivi sijui wamebaki na Generattor na kwa ufupi hawa mabwana wanalipa vizuri na wanafanya kazi kama sijiui vizuri hii Panafrica.. ni ya wajapani. Hii inaniambia kama ni ya mbogo basi kampiga bao RA.

Pili Jamani TANESCO hata hili tu la kusambaza Dar haiwezekani, kivipi mnataka viwanda vyote hivyo muwape? Hii si ni kuidhalilisha kwa kifupi Tanzania hatujiwezi wenyewe wenyewe kwa umeme na Gas. Hatuwezi kumdhibiti mwekezaji kwa kuwa hatuna uwezo wa kumpa mahitaji yake kwa wakati na kwa uhakika ya kutosha. Hii inapelekea kulazimishwa hata mikataba mibovu jamaa anataka kuwekeza anakwambia ntakupa 5% kwa kuwa ntatumia ardhi yako.. lakini ntaleta vingine vyote toka kwetu au nakojua mie achilia mbali nguvu kazi.

In 2011 Orca in planning to test the low risk Songo Songo West (SSW) prospect, a major potential source of reserves upside in the Songo Songo area. If successful SSW could provide the resources to underwrite a significant expansion of the gas infrastructure and growing markets both in Tanzania and beyond.

In 2010 Orca has an aggressive expansion programme to capture multiple additional assets with a focus on oil exploration, leveraged from a strong financial base. This is intended to diversify risk and lead to a step change in company value

Not sure who are all Pan African shareholders, especially their local shareholders if any. Sababu hawa jamaa walichafua mitambo ya Songas na kusababisha mitambo kuharibika ila hautasikia Pan African wamesababisha mgao.

However the owners of Songas are Pan African, TANESCO, TDFL and TPDC. Pan African is major shareholder with 55% of Songas.

There should be transparency on companies shareholding where any government authorities are doing business on any PPP project.

Watanzania inabidi pia tuanze kuangali how can we invest in the energy sector instead of kusubiri companies like Pan African kuja na ku-control resources zetu. We can't blame them but we need to wake up now.
In the future projects, we need to engage such companies as consultants only. They will be working for us and our interests.

Sasa mkuu unataka kusema nini? Umeelewa theme ya thread hii? Ukweli ni kua PANAFRICAN wanavyofaidika haikupaswa iwe hivyo. Mimi nikasema TANESCO wangeweza kumanage. Hivi unafikiri kama TANESCO ingekua haingiliwi na politicians ingeshindwa kumanage gas and electricity supply? Siasa ndio linaua shirika ilo.

However back to PANAFRICAN's case, tungekua na a reliable and firm state owned gas producer and supplier, tusingewahitaji hao PANAFRICAN. Again corrupt government systemi is to be blamed in this context!

Mkuu umeongea sana lakini bila kutoa way forward. Ilo ndilo tatizo letu waTZ, tunaongea sana bila kutoa suluhisho. Au unaenjoy cake ya PANAFRICAN nini?

Hapo hujaambua kitu dogo...yes, I know PanAfrican very well. Kwa taarifa yako hiyo project ilikuwa GAS TO POWER, na hapo GAS ni deal ya Panafrican & TPDC na POWER ni Songas to generate and sell to TANESCO. Kwa taarifa yako Songas is entitled to only 45 MMSCFD of gas na the rest ni mali ya TPDC na PanAfrican (additional gas). Panafrican has a deal with TPDC to produce, transmit and distribute natural gas. The revenues obtained are shared the two parties according the joint operation agreement.
