    Mariah Carey starred in Precious which was nominated for a Best Picture Oscar, but the real drama came on the red carpet with Mariah's dress causing a few gasps thanks to the dramatic split up the leg. But then this is Mariah Carey, and she does love to show skin - why should she change her style for the Oscars?

    Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez looked as though she had enough material in her dress for another floor-length gown. The very pale pink Armani Prive dress added mass curves to the already curvy star and split fashion critics.

    US chat show host turned actress Mo'nique won the Best Supporting Actress award, as well as winning fashion praise from critics for wearing blue and a flower in her hair

    And the award for the closest resemblance to an Oscar statue goes to... Sandra Bullock. In a full-length shimmering tight gold Vintage Marchesa dress Sandra had Oscar winner written all over her before the ceremony even started
