Enzi za mkapa thamani ya pesa ya kitanzania ilikua juu, vyombo vya habari vilikua na nidhamu, uongozi ulikuwa strict na matumizi ya serikali yalithibitiwa, safari zisizokuwa za maana hazikuwepo ukilinganisha na sasa bajeti inayoyumika katika safari za viongozi inatosha kuongeza mishahara ya wafanyakazi wa serikali.

Kwa kifupi naweza kusema mkapa was a hardwork and inteligent as well as serious with his presidential position

Thanks Mwanafalsafa, Majority of people want us to believe that because of his economy revamp success,we are bound to exonerate him from wrong doing. Who says one right can nullify one wrong!
We all applaud what Mkapa did, absolutely. We also condemn his moral decay and dismal behaviour which has resulted in loss of millions of Tax payers money for his own gain or friends' favour.
The success is in one basket, the failure due to embezzlement and corruption is in another basket. These two things should never be confused, in fact the stupid people always cover Mkapa's alleged sins under his success. Prez Mkapa should tell us the truth, not to seek mea culpa in church as he is now used to. Mkapa is alleged to be the most corrupted leader in the history of our country, notwithstanding his remarkable economy revival.

Mkapa of the 1st 5 years was good , not because he wanted, but because he was pretty aware that Mwalimu was looking at his misdoings. And then the "nuisance" Mwalimu aka haambiliki passed away (RIP our Saint) that is when a new and real Mkapa was born. It is during this time that the new Mkapa undid the Old Mkapa ! No body will forget the NetGroup Solution Saga, The KIA international Airport plunder, the Tanzanite day light theft by South Africans, the Mwananchi and Meremeta thugs, the EPA syphony in corraboration with RA and JK, the TAKRIMA authorization; the calling of names of all who were trying to tell him the truth, the Jenerali Ulimwenga saga, Arkado Ntagazwa and all the rest who fell victim of his Monstrous anger! Who will forget the EOTF under her wife Anna? How can we forget about Kiwira so easily? The suffering of the people of Kyela and Rungwe due to the plunder of Kiwira Coal mine?
Was Mkapa not the chairman when he endorsed Kikwete despite all bad report of corruption presented to NEC by Mangula? How can Mkapa escape the blame of unlawful eviction of people in the mining ares accompanied by bad mining law and contracts? Should we like Mkapa for endorsing the killing of Dar port ? How can we forget the purchase of radr and millitary trucks under dubious and corupt conditions?
