VISION
To have a Tanzanian who is well educated, knowledgeable, skilled, and culturally mature to handle national and international challenges in various political, and social-economic fields by 2025.
MISSION
To ensure that there is an appropriate legal and practical working environment to enable all stakeholders who are eager and able to provide quality education participate in its expansion at all levels and provide equal opportunities to all; as well as enhancing cultural administration, supervision and infrastructure.
KATIBA YA JAMHURI YA MUUNGANO WA TANZANIA YA MWAKA 1977
11(2) Kila mtu anayo haki ya kujielimisha na kila raia atakuwa huru kutafuta elimu katika fani anayopenda hadi kufikia upeo wowote kulingana na stahili na uwezo wake.
11(3) serikali itafanya jitihada kuhakikisha kwamba watu wote wanapata fursa sawa na za kutosha kuwawezesha kupata elimu na mafunzo ya ufundi katika ngazi zote za shule ma vyuo vinginevyo vya mafunzo,
Matokeo yalitoka huku wanafunzi zaidi ya nusu wakiwa wamefeli (wameshindwa kupata alama mbili za D). mimi sikushtushwa na haya matokeo sababu niliyategemea kutokana na mchakato wa zinazoitwa shule hasa za kata zinavyoendeshwa.
Ifahamike kwamba shule ni mchakato unaoendelea kati ya mwalimu na mwanafunzi hivyo uwepo wa majengo pamoja na wanafunzi pekee hakukamilishi maana ya shule. Je hapa asiyekuwepo shuleni anafeli vipi? Watoto wanafeli vipi wasichofundishwa? Hivi somo lenye mada 40, alafu mwanafunzi akafundishwa mada 3, alafu mtihani ukatungwa kwa kufuata mada zote 40. huyu mwanafunzi anapiwa vipi? Hizi ndizo fursa sawa zinazohubiriwa na katiba yetu?
