Job position: Assistant Transport Officer
The Assistant Transport Officer takes care of all the details for transportation operations of the company.
Responsibility of Assistant Transport Officer
· To evaluate employee performance, the allocation and rotation of appropriate work assignments
· Responsible for the road safety programme.
· Ensures that company vehicles are used in accordance with company Rules and Regulations and that vehicle usage data is correctly recorded.
· Develops and maintains active road accident prevention programs.
· To manage diverse transport operations
Qualifications
Assistant Transport Officer must have at least a bachelor's degree in business and other fields related to logistics or transportation (Driving trucks).
Other skills
· Ability to provide leadership, strong negotiating skills and ability to influence others to reach mutual agreement.
Job position: Assistant Warehouse Operator (female only)
Assistant Warehouse Operator carry out general warehouse duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
To be aware of, and follow, warehouse safety procedures.
To work as part of the Warehouse team.
Responsibilities
· To prepare orders of equipment for the company, which includes picking of stock.
· To load and unload lorries.
· To be responsible for the safekeeping of company property.
· To carry out quality control checks and to count and record stock figures.
· To be responsible for completion and prompt submission of all related paperwork and the provision of other information as requested.
· To develop productive working relationships with colleagues.
· To communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, other warehouse staff and depot staff.
· To be able to deal effectively and efficiently with queries and correspondence.
· To be aware of and to follow all safety guidelines.
· To ensure accuracy in all paperwork and delivery quantities.
· To assist in other duties as reasonably requested by the Warehouse Manager.
Qualifications
Assistant Warehouse Operator must have at least a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Procurement.
