    jamani naomba mnisaidie kiswahili fasaha juu ya wingi wa neno albino. Mara nyingi watu wamekuwa wakiwaita walemavu wa ngozi maalbino jambo ambalo kwa mtazamo wangu naona kama sio sahihi. Mfano mtu mwenye ngozi nyeupe huitwa mzungu na wingi wake huitwa wazungu, mtu mwenye ngozi nyeusi huitwa mwafrika na wingi wake huitwa waafrika. sasa kwanini albino asiitwe waalbino kwa wingi wake? nisaidieni

    Albino ni neno la kiingereza. Kiswahili chake ni zeruzeru, ingawa kwa sasa watu wanaamini ni jina linalodhalilisha (sijui ni kwa nini!). Neno zeruzeru kama ambavyo nimekuwa nikisikia linatumiwa halina wingi (angalia: "yule zeruzeru ni mkorofi" au "zeruzeru hawa ni wakarimu").

    kuna maneno mengi ya kiingereza yanatumika badala ya kiswahili kuonyesha u-mambo leo kwa mfano nguo ya kutungua dukani inaitwa "ready made". Nyerere alieleza kwamba hata kwa kiingereza, umamboleo upo kwa kuacha neno la kiingreza na kutumia la kigeni na alitoa mfano wa mswahili kuitwa "rat catcher" kwa mkamata panya na mzungu anayefanya kazi hiyo hiyo kuitwa "rodent officer"! Nadhani ni ustaarabu zaidi kuwaita zeruzeru "albino".

    Kwa uelewa wangu mdogo wa lugha, mimi nadhani maalbino ndio uwingi wa albino.

    Sio kweli mtu mwenye ngozi nyeusi anaitwa Mwaafrika, je na mmarekani mweusi utamwita mwaafrika, au ukienda india kuna wahindi weusi hao nao ni waafrika.?

    hii inapnyesha dhahiri kuwa hii lugha yetu ina mapungufu. kwa nini wapende kuitwa albino? zeruzeru linadhalilisha vipi? wakati mwingine ni kujikweza tu kusiko na maana, ila tukubaliane nao tu. tuwaite maalbino

    'Tupinkele'! Inawezekana, ingawa binafsi sijawahi kusikia likitumiwa na wazungumzaji wa kiswahili wa Tanzania kumaaninsha 'albino'. Mara chache sana nimesikia likitumika kumaanisha wageni!

    Au ni neno jipya limebuniwa na BAKITA kuchukua nafsi ya zeruzeru ambalo halitumiki?

    Acha uongo wewe,sio wote wenyengozi nyeupe huitwa wazungu,mbona wahindi,waarabu wote wanangozi nyeupe lakini hatuwaiti wazungu,hata wachina hatuwaiti wazungu?

    Kuna njia mbalimbali kuonyesha uwingi katika sarufi ya Kiswahili.

    Watu hutajwa mara nyingi kwa maneno yanayoonyesha mwanzoni "M" kwa umoja na "WA" kwa uwingi. Lakini si maneno yote kwa watu yaliyopo katika kundi hili.

    Kuna maneno yanayoonekana kama maneno yenye asili ya kigeni na haya yamo kwenye kundi tofauti. Umoja hauna "M" mbele lakini uwingi huonekana kwa "MA"

    Mifano: daktari - madaktari; profesa - maprofesa, dereva - madereva
    Hivyo ndivyo albino - maalbino

    (swali la neno sahihi tuache kando. Hili ni idara ya msamiati halafu msamiati na sarufi ni mikono tofauti ya elimu ya lugha)

    Maneno mengi yalibadilishwa jinsi ya kuwaita walemavu miaka ile ya '80' kama sikosei.

    Wataalam wa lugha na wapigania haki waliona kuwa Kumwita mtu kwa kupitia ulemavu wake ni kumdhalilisha, mfano neno Kilema (Vilema) ni mtu aliyepata ulemavu baada ya kuzaliwa (hakuzaliwa mlemavu).

    Mf:
    Badala ya kutumia neno Kilema tunashauriwa kuumia neno Mlemavu.

    K/Vipofu= M/Walemavu wa mcho, (asiye ona).

    K/Visiwi = M/Walemavu wa kusikia, wasio weza kusikia.

    K/Vilema (K/Viungo) = Mlemavu wa Viungo.

    Zeruzeru = Wenye ulemavu wa Ngozi (Albino).

    Ushauri ni kwamba tuwaite vile wenyewe wataona kuwa ni sawa.

    Alibino sio neno la kiswahili, kwahiyo huwezi kupata neno fasaha lakiswahili kupata wingi wake!
    Labda utafsiri kwanza: Zeruzeru
    Hakuna wingi wa neno zeruzeru, ni sawa na neno mbuzi au Ng'ombe (maneno haya hayana wingi)
