Mr Mengi (IPP Media) once advised the government to support Precision Air instead of trying to resuscitate Air Tanzania, but his advice fell on deaf ear! And that is what the government has reaped. Rest in Peace ATCL

Mengi gave that advice because he had heard that Shirima was off-loading some of his shares to the public so what he was trying to do was convince the government to support precision Air in which case if the government heeded his advice he would have invested safely in precision Air!! It is unfortunate that the sole plane operated by ATCL had an accident but take heart dear patriots I am sure the plane is fully insured and I would advise the government to add some money to the insurance compensation and buy a new plane instead of these mitumba!!
