    Jamani mnisaidie kunielekeza ingawa najua ni kupika pilau ni process ndefu.
    Jinsi ya kuchanganyia viungo(spices) na ni viungo gani mhimu.

    Rice Pilau

    Ingredients (6 servings)
    1 pound goat, mutton or beef cubes
    4 garlic cloves
    Salt
    9 cardamom pods
    4 tbsp vegetable oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 cups rice
    10 whole black peppercorns
    8 whole cloves
    8 cinnamon sticks
    1 tsp ground ginger
    ¼ cup cumin seed powder
    4 small tomatoes
    6 cups water

    Preparation

    • Boil the meat in salted water until tender.
    • Crush the garlic and cardamom together with 2tbsp water using a mortar and pestle.
    • Sautee the onion until it is golden brown.
    • Add the rice, meat, garlic and cardamom mixture, peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon, ginger and cumin seed powder.
    • Cook covered over medium heat until all are nicely brown, about 10 minutes.
    • Add the tomatoes.
    • Cook and stir until the tomatoes are thoroughly cooked down to the consistency of a sauce.
    • Add the 6 cups water to the rice mixture, bring to a boil and then cook over very low heat, (while covered) for another 15-20 minutes, until all water is absorbed and the rice is cooked through.
    • Serve with Kachumbari.

    Nijuavyo Mimi pilau ina dizain nyingi za kupika hii ni kadri mtu apendavyo leo anataka pilau hii, au ile. tehetehe.

    Sasa pilau yangu mimi kwa leo ni hii.

    MAHITAJI:
    - Mchele kg 1
    - Nyama ya ngombe/Kuku 3/4 kg.
    - vitunguu maji vikubwa 2.
    - nyanya moja au mbili za wastani.
    - ndimu/limao 1
    - Unga wa pilau uliochanganywa vijiko vya chakula 2
    - Jiira (binzari nyembamba) iliyosagwa vijiko vya chai 2
    - Jiira nzima ambayo haijasagwa vijiko vya chai 2
    - Pilipili manga nzima kijiko cha chakula 1 (au punje 15)
    - Tangawizi iliyotwangwa kijiko cha chai 1/2 (ukipenda)
    - vitunguu thomu (swaum)vilivyosagwa vijiko vya chakula ujazo wa wastani 3.
    - chumvi (utaonja inayotosha)
    - mafuta ya kupikia

    JINSI YA KUANDAA.
    - safisha nyama, kisha katakata vipande vya wastani, changanya na vitunguu swaumu kijiko kimoja, ndimu kipande, chunvi ya kutosha, tangawizi 1/2 kijiko cha chai na kisha weka jikoni. ikianza kushemka igeuzegeuze ili viungo vichanganyane vizuri (kama dk 5-7) kisha weka maji yafunike hiyo nyama acha ichemke kwa dk kama 10 - 15 (itategemea ni nyama ya aina gani na laini kiasi gani) mie napendelea ya ngombe au kuku wa kienyeji. hakikisha unapika kwa moto usio mkali sana na supu isikauke maana ndio utakayotumia pia kupikia pilau yako.

    - Baada ya nyama kuwa tayari weka pembeni, injika sufuria ya kupikia pilau yako.
    - weka mafuta ya kupikia 1/2 glass (au waweza kadria yanayotosha)
    - menya, kata, na weka vitunguu maji kwenye mafuta yaliyopata moto kaanga kwa muda kidogo mpaka vilegee
    - weka nyama (bila) supu kaanga mpaka nyama ianze kubadilika rangi kuwa ya brown kwa mbali,
    - weka vitunguu thomu kaanga (mchanganyiko wako utaanza kuwa wa brown) hakikisha usiunguze
    - weka jiira iliyonzima pamoja na iliyosagwa, pamoja na pilipili manga. kaanga kidogo vichanganyike vizuri
    - weka unga wa pilau na kaanga ilivitu vyote vichanganyike vizuri na usiunguze (kama vyang'angania kwenye sufuria oneza supu ya nyama kidogo) kisha kamua ndimu kipande kiasi cha kupata kijiko kimoja cha chakula weka pamoja na nyanya endelea kukaanga vichanganyike vizuri.
    - weka chunvi kiasi koroga vichanganyike vizuri
    - weka mchele uliousafisha na kuuosha (angalizo mchele usiuoshe mapema sana maana utalainika - osha wakati unaanza kukaanga michanganyiko yako ya pilau.
    - changanya vizuri mchele wako na viungo ulivyokaanga kisha weka supu uliyopikia nyama (badala ya maji) angalia usawa wa mchele na supu isiwe nyingi sana kiasi cha kufanya mchele uwe boko au ndogo kiasi cha kufanya uwe mbichi tegemea na aina ya mchele.

    - ikianza kuchemka, punguza moto iive katika moto mdogo
    - ikianza kukauka geuza funika kama dk 7 kisha geuza tena acha iive taratibu baada kama dk 20 iiangalie kama tayari ipua tayari kwa kuliwa na sosi, saladi uliyoiandaa.

    chemsha nyama hadi iive, hakikisha kunabaki na supu ya kutosha kupikia wali.

    Osha mchele wako.

    Tia mafuta kiduchu kwenye sufuria, tia viazi, acha muda mfupi, tia kitunguu swaumu koroga, tia viungo vya pilau, koroga weka mchele koroga mpaka uchanganyike vyema.

    Weka supu uliyobakiza, tia chumvi koroka kichanganya chumvi weka njegere mbichi na nyama funika.......

    naomba unielekeze jinsi ya kupika ndizi nyama mana sijaweze jinsi ya kuzipika hadi zinivutie zikiwa na nyama bila kusahau mboga2.

    kabla ya kupalia naweka lile tui zito la juu(nililoengua kabla)
    nanyunyiza juu thn napalia makaa
    kisha off i go kuandaa salad
